Description:


  • Produce photorealistic rendered and real-time FX elements using Unreal Engine, Niagara, and Houdini.
  • Work closely with the CG Supervisor, Art Director, and other artists to enhance gameplay and cinematics.
  • Ensure FX content is performant, within budget, and aligned with project goals.
  • Prototype FX and materials to support gameplay tone, pacing, and visual storytelling.
  • Work with leads and production to estimate and plan FX tasks, break down deliverables, and provide progress updates.
  • Research and document new workflows, contributing to process improvements.
  • Be a proactive self-starter, independently executing high-level direction and solving technical challenges.
  • Inspire and mentor others by demonstrating initiative, accountability, and a positive attitude.


Requirements:


  • 3 to 5 years of experience in FX for games.
  • Minimum of 1 shipped title with an established game studio
  • Strong portfolio showcasing realistic, real-time FX, such as destruction, fire, smoke, and various particle effects.
