**Position Purpose:**
This role provides key leadership within the SEC Reporting function and is responsible for supporting the Chief Accounting Officer's external reporting strategy. This role manages the planning, development and filing of periodic reports with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including the quality and timely delivery of the quarterly 10-Q's and annual 10-K (as well as 8-K, 1933 Act registration statements, and other required reporting), as well as collaboration with Investor Relations during their development of earnings materials (earnings release and earnings script). This position is responsible for driving the evolution of various reporting processes through technology innovation and process optimization, while overseeing the completion of our Form 11-K's (401K financial statements), as well as other domestic and international statutory filings. Within the overall framework of the SEC Team responsibilities, this position will take on different roles and responsibilities to accommodate their own development over time and also facilitate the development of other associates on the team. The filings led by this function are of the most visible and scrutinized public documents and their presentation and accuracy is critical the Home Depot. This role also oversees the preparation of our cash flow statement, as well as various internal reporting deliverables including materials provided directly to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.

The Finance team at Doximity is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to play a pivotal role in the preparation and continuous improvement of the Company's external financial reporting. You will also assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, assist with accounting for complex accounting transactions, execution of internal controls over financial reporting, and provide external audit support. How You'll Make An Impact Lead the preparation of SEC filings (i.e. 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filings) including the preparation of financial statements, footnote disclosures, relevant disclosure checklists, maintaining supporting schedules and documentation, and assisting with the review of XBRL tagging Roll forward, format, and maintain SEC filings within our cloud-based SEC reporting platform Own the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation for SEC filings, including tie-outs Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations including stock-based compensation, investments, and other technical accounting areas Perform industry disclosure benchmark analysis, develop and prepare recommendations Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting operations Recommend and support process improvements to standardize and streamline processes, including leveraging Alteryx, Domo, AI initiatives, and automation tools Ensure compliance with SOX requirements by maintaining and documenting internal controls over financial reporting and other key business processes Assist in the management of the audit / quarterly review and PBC request process Assist in special projects, such as ad hoc analyses and other duties as appropriate What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2+ years of public accounting experience in a Big 4 firm; Excellent communicator with superb written and oral communication skills, and ability to partner cross-functionally; Strong understanding of financial statements, U.S. GAAP, SOX requirements, and SEC reporting regulations; Detail oriented while being able to consider the big picture Quick learner with the ability to multitask, work independently, think critically and problem solve Proactive in identifying and implementing strategies to enhance the financial reporting process Proficient in Excel Enthusiasm for learning new IT systems and automation tools Compensation The US total compensation range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $20,000 (inclusive of salary + equity). What You'll Do

  • Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP
  • Support the build-out of external reporting function, including SEC forms (10-K, 10-Q, S-1) and investor reporting materials
  • Conduct disclosure benchmarking against industry peers to support management's disclosure objectives while maintaining compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate quarterly reviews, annual audits, and technical accounting assessments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing financial reporting processes, internal controls, and automation.
  • Monitor the issuance of new FASB pronouncements, advise about changes in reporting requirements and the best approach for implementation
  • Assist with technical accounting research and analysis on non-recurring and complex transactions
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, tax, legal, and FP&A
  • Contribute to special projects or ad hoc tasks as needed
You
  • Have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, related discipline or equivalent military experience
  • Have 4-7 years of progressive experience at a Big 4 accounting firm and/or in a financial reporting role at a public company
  • Hold a CPA license, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and financial systems such as NetSuite and Workiva (WDesk)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and disclosure requirements under US GAAP and SEC regulations. Have experience with 10K's and 10Q's.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel for analyzing large quantities of data and PowerPoint for creating clear and concise presentations
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to self-review work and deliver error-free results
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-accounting stakeholders
  • A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and propose solutions or alternatives in the face of ambiguity
  • Curiosity and motivation to learn, grow, and develop knowledge in unfamiliar areas
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including strong prioritization and time management skills and adaptability
