KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Game Day Staff is split into a variety of positions: Ushers, Ticket Scanners, Parking, and Ops Crew, which includes all set-up and tear down and working as fan fest, field support, and support as a ticket scanner during the game.
• The Parking Staff is responsible for the set-up and tear down of the parking areas for events at WakeMed Soccer Park; including but not limited to cones and signage. Staff will then work as attendants throughout the time the lot is open to direct cars to the correct lots and spaces, ensuring that cars are parked efficiently to maximize lot usage.
• The Game Day Ops Crew is responsible for the set-up and tear down of the stadium for events held at WakeMed Soccer Park; including but not limited to tables, chairs, tents, staging equipment, barricades, field equipment, and other related elements.
• All employees must practice safe work habits to ensure event production on game days is as efficient and safe as possible.
• Game Day Staff will provide feedback in an efficient way to leadership, including but not limited to entry and exit efficiency, seat assignment, ticket sales, merch sales, concessions, janitorial services, equipment management, stadium structure, etc. to ensure game day improvements throughout the season.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
• Must be able to work at least 75% of home games for both the NCFC and NC Courage teams throughout the 2025 season.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, fans, and other office staff.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service and interactions with fans to ensure they are maximizing their game day experience enjoyment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Merchandise Staff - Deliver an exciting customer shopping experience in a fast-paced environment. Provide memorable customer service interactions by greeting each customer, helping fans locate desired merchandise, and completing sales transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system. Merchandise Staff recommend specific products as directed and work with other team members to achieve sales goals. This position is ideal for a candidate with retail or cash handling experience.
Event Staff - Assist fans in locating areas of Lincoln Financial Field and supplying general information. Provide a high-quality customer service interaction with all fans which will set the tone for the overall entertainment experience. Event Staff monitor fan behavior with the assistance of Event Staff Supervisors and security personnel. Event Staff positions include: Ticket Takers, Ushers, Guest Services Attendants, Wheelchair Escorts, Fan Ambassadors, and Quality Control. This position is ideal for a candidate that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has great interpersonal skills.
Concierge Staff - Assist fans in locating the Premium areas of Lincoln Financial Field and supplying general information in a courteous and professional manner. Provide a high-quality customer service interaction with all fans which will set the tone for the overall entertainment experience. This position is ideal for a candidate with a professional and gracious demeanor as well as exceptional customer relations skills.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be available 3-4 hours prior to event kick-off and approximately 1-2 hours after each event

Two training sessions must be completed in order to begin working Lincoln Financial Field events in the summer. Training sessions will take place at the beginning of June.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• May be required to lift 40 lbs.
• May be required to stand for entire length of shift.
• May be required to walk throughout stadium (including climbing stairs) during each shift.
• May be required to work in elevated areas.
• May be required to work in confined/narrow spaces (i.e. elevator).
• Ability to work in variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold weather based on the season.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a customer service environment preferred.
COMPENSATION

How You'll Contribute:

Player Stats and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Must be able to commit to the entire Rockford IceHogs 2025-26 season - including attending preseason meetings and training sessions, working all 36 regular-season home games and playoff games. Availability for game days from 3:00pm - 10:00pm is a must. If you are not able to commit to the entire season, we ask that you do not apply.

This position will work collaboratively to resolve issues that may arise in the stadium by fielding calls and dispatch a proper response team. Enhance the game day experience for our guests and by supporting our staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work ALL 2025 Commanders Home Games and Major Events
- Provide guests with excellent customer service to enhance their game day fan experience
- Enforce event location, Commanders, and NFL rules, regulations, and policies

- Write comprehensive incident reports in real time as they happen.
Requirements:
- Must have the ability to commit to work all Football Home Games, Concerts, Soccer, Major Stadium Events, and potential playoff games
- Must be at least18 and over with HS Diploma or GED
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Requires the ability to perform duties with attention to detail
- Previous Experience working in a Command Center or as a Dispatcher is a plus
- Eagerness to learn new software's and systems. Experience with 24/7 Software is a plus.
- Ability to be professional, friendly, and courteous, regardless of the situation and provide a high level of customer service with internal and external contacts
- Requires effective verbal communication skills, excellent writing skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent Technological Competence and willingness to learn systems

Job Description
Game Day Operations Interns will:
- Setup and breakdown for all home games
- Execute pre-game, intermission, post-game promotions
- Interact with fans at home games to create a fun and exciting atmosphere
- Assist Front Office Staff with all game day operation needs
- Working in the Front Office during non-game days
- Be able to attend 80% of home games during the 2025-26 season. This will include nights, weekends, and possibly holidays.
- Strong personal and communication skills
- Work strongly in a team environment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to actively engage and interact with fans.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to accept all tasks assigned and the ability to learn quickly.
- The ability to handle the physical requirements of the position, including setting up equipment for events, standing for longer periods of time and other light to medium lifting.
- *This is an unpaid internship intended for students who will receive school credit and/or are looking to build their resumes or gain experience in the sports industry.
