Primary Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Event Preparation
    • Pick up production equipment from designated locations prior to assigned events.
    • Clean, maintain, and fully charge all equipment (cameras, lights, speakers, laptops, hotspots, walkie-talkies) before event day.
  • On-Site Event Execution
    • Travel within your city/region to live events held at schools, corporate offices, convention centers, or other venues.

  • Stay on top of ever-changing social media trends, pop culture references or other relevant conversations in the social space.
  • Conceptualize, film, edit and otherwise create engaging content for various social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and more.
  • Shoot high-quality video and stills using both iPhone and DSLR cameras, ensuring exceptional composition, lighting, and clarity.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop content ideas and execute content pieces that are not only relevant, native to platform, but align with brand objectives and standards.
  • Execute video editing and photo retouching.
  • Manage and organize digital assets, including raw footage, photos, and edited files, to ensure efficient workflow and accessibility.
Qualifications

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in video content creation for social media at a consumer-facing brand or agency or similar experience.
  • Strong understanding of opportunities and limitations of all popular social platforms.
  • A passion for staying updated on emerging trends in social media and digital content creation.
  • Experience creating content in the beauty industry, with examples of this work in your portfolio
  • Keen eye for design/art direction/leveraging props and styling.
  • Collaborative work ethic.
  • Experience creating various types of content from product shots to storytelling.
  • Mid-level Experience shooting and lighting video content and still photography.
  • Proficiency with photography and editing programs both in app and external (e.g., Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Capture One etc)
  • Nice to have: Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, AfterEffects, and Illustrator.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced team environment, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously with hard deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability in adapting brand voices and visual identities to videos.
  • Ability to manage projects from ideation to production, through post-production and delivery.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Compensation Range: $79,990.00 - $125,925.00. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Responsibilities

Content Creation
Produce short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts with speed, creativity, and platform-native fluency. Create original, high-quality videos-ranging from tutorials and product demos to behind-the-scenes moments and trend-driven formats-that align with brand goals and resonate with the target audience. Stay current on platform updates, trends, and algorithm shifts to maximize organic reach and engagement.


Community Engagement & Growth
Build and nurture engaged communities across all platforms through consistent posting schedules, responsive community management, and strategic trend forecasting. Analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategy and identify opportunities for audience growth. Respond to comments, direct messages, and engage with follower content to maintain strong community relationships.


Technical & Creative Skills
Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro to quickly edit polished social content. Demonstrate proficiency in lighting, audio, production, composition, and storytelling techniques specific to short-form video formats. Stay current with platform-specific features, effects, and optimization techniques to maintain competitive advantage. Plus if you have experience in Adobe After Effects.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of content creation experience with demonstrated success
  • Proven track record of growing social media accounts to 100K+ followers across multiple platforms
  • Portfolio showcasing viral content and consistent engagement rates above industry benchmarks
  • Advanced in video editing software, plus if you have motion design experience (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci, etc)
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and ability to translate data into actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with beauty brands, restaurants, or food product companies
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and keyword optimization for social media
  • Basic understanding of paid social advertising and content amplification strategies
