About the Role:
Job Summary - Land Data Solutions Analyst
Please Note, the Candidate MUST Have Experience in the land division or equivalent in the Upstream Oil & Gas Industry
The Land Data Solutions Analyst will be responsible for managing and delivering high-quality data insights to support the Corporate Land Group within customer. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI and other Power Platform tools. The ideal candidate brings a background in land management (preferably with experience at a land technology company such as On Demand Land, ThoughtTrace, Enverus, or similar) and combines that domain expertise with strong data visualization and reporting skills.
This individual will report to the Corporate Land Data Manager and will support the group by developing technology-driven reporting solutions. They will build and maintain application-based reports, streamline reporting processes, and provide tools that enable the Corporate Land Group to make faster, more informed decisions. They will proactively identify opportunities to improve data-driven decision-making across land operations and deliver actionable reports for customer teams and stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for land operations, including designing visuals, metrics, and analytics to monitor land-related business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the connection of third-party APIs (e.g., land systems such as On Demand Land, ThoughtTrace, Palantir, Monday.com, Onbase) to a centralized data system.
- Gather and document user requirements and translate business needs into application designs.
- Establish a robust Power Platform environment strategy for land data and reporting.
- Lead day-to-day maintenance, enhancements, and troubleshooting of Power Platform applications, resolving or escalating issues as needed.
- Automate business processes and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
- Enhance business processes through the development of Power Apps.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Skills
- Microsoft Power Platform certification
- Experience automating workflows and building Canvas Power Apps
- Understanding of land workflows (leases, title, obligations, lease provisions)
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems
- Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell) or front-end frameworks for data automation

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Contract Oil & Gas Attorney to join our confidential clients legal team. This role is perfect for a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in oil and gas law, specifically in writing title opinions for properties in West Virginia, Ohio, and/or Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of the legal intricacies involved in the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough title examinations and prepare detailed title opinions for oil and gas properties in West Virginia, Ohio, and/or Pennsylvania.
- Review and analyze property records, including deeds, leases, and other legal documents, to determine ownership and title status.
- Identify and resolve title defects and issues, providing clear and concise recommendations for curative actions.
- Collaborate with landmen, clients, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with state-specific laws, regulations, and industry standards related to oil and gas title opinions.
- Draft and review legal documents related to oil and gas transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on matters related to oil and gas title opinions and property rights.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all title examinations and opinions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active state bar membership in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in oil and gas law, with a focus on writing title opinions.
- Strong understanding of property law, title examination, and curative processes in West Virginia, Ohio, and/or Pennsylvania.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and title examination software.
- Familiarity with state-specific oil and gas regulations and industry standards.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
