Responsibilities
- Support and oversee the full federal and state-specific compliance reporting lifecycle for multiple clients simultaneously, including EPCRA Tier II reports, TRI Form A and Form R submissions, Annual and Biennial Waste reports, and various reports related to Stormwater, Wastewater, and Pollution Prevention programs.
- Conduct and oversee environmental compliance audits and assessments to ensure adherence with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement corrective actions and compliance strategies for clients.
- Develop and update operational plans, including Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3), Waste Management Plans, and Pollution Prevention Plans
- Perform regulatory research, prepare technical documents, and efficiently collect, organize, and analyze large volumes of client data to support compliance deliverables.
- Responsible for operating within established project expectations, including managing and adhering to project quality standards, budgets, schedules, and specific scopes of work.
- Draft proposals and scopes of work for clients.
- Lead, train, and mentor junior staff members to foster their professional growth and career development
- Contribute to business development activities, including client relationship management and support for the expansion of the client base.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering (chemical, civil, or environmental), or a related scientific discipline; a master's degree is preferred.
- Experience in multimedia compliance consulting, ranging from 3 to 10 years, with at least 3+ years in project management being highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in environmental reporting and auditing.
- Experience preparing regulatory reports and plans required by EPCRA, CERCLA, CWA, and RCRA.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills strongly desired.
- Willingness to travel overnight.
