Trillium Professional is now seeking a GIS Applications Developer in Boston, MA for a hybrid position!
The selected applicant will serve as part of a team of Geographic Information System (GIS) developers who deliver geospatial solutions at an enterprise level.
The selected applicant should possess an excellent working knowledge of programming with Python, JavaScript, and other languages. The applicant will be responsible for creating geospatial web and scripting applications within the ESRI stack. Applicants will be required to develop custom widgets, geoprocessing services, ETL processes, and integrations across different software and platforms. They will also be responsible for the management of enterprise geodatabases, database servers, web servers, and other cloud-based infrastructure. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to plan and execute the testing, installation, implementation, and support of such solutions, as well as providing documentation. Writing and/or coding samples should be provided.
Other duties include: gathering complete business requirements and gaining business approval before proceeding with solutions, maintaining a list of backlog requests, assisting in the prioritization of the backlog and planning of work streams. Proper time and resource management is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
-In addition to meeting the minimum requirements for this position, candidates should be comfortable using all aspects of ArcGIS Enterprise, as well as Amazon and Azure cloud-based products.

- Convert existing construction drawings to computer-aided design/drafting software
- Input and update of all CAD plans and occupancy data
- Communicate with Project Management, Space Planning and Move Management for CAD needs
- Recommend process improvements and performance enhancements in the use of the client space data management system
- Generate needed reports and analysis on Space
- Manage and report space allocation data, including business presence and archiving
- Proactively monitor space allocation data and changes
- Provide allocation data in accordance with client Space Allocation Process
**Requirements**
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in Architectural Technology, Space Planning, Space Data Management or Data Analytics. Preferred by not required
- Zero to three years experience in a corporate real estate environment.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite software applications
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills
- Able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective services
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills
- Assumes ownership of requests in order to ensure successful completion
- Strong attention to detail and quality with ability to handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and direction

Responsibilities- Work with various stakeholders to develop data strategies and provide the data necessary to meet AOEA requirements.
- Collaborate across a diverse team utilizes industry standard technology, communication and visualization tools to enable line of business missions.
- Use data mining for structured and unstructured information to satisfy deployer requests.
- Apply advanced spatial analytics capabilities to derive insights from a combination of unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data.
- Maintain, move, and manipulate data between applications and across NGA Domains, using appropriate software as technology evolves. Strength in collaboration and teamwork within, between, and across organizational boundaries.
- Maintain databases for issues regarding the full life cycle of data from design to production, conversion, migration, translation, and data quality assurance
- Transfer, load, and share data using current government provided capabilities in accordance with administrative policies and procedures.
- Project long range requirements for database administration in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function as well as business function managers.
- Responsible for all activities related to the administration of computerized databases.
- Identify emerging technologies/software and represent the office at technology meetings.
- Data mining and conditioning (search for and condition data sets that would help perform the mission).
- Be familiar with digital imagery and digital imagery processes.
- Prepare briefings, presentations, and demonstrations. Specific products contractor may support: Monthly Reports, Trip Reports if travel is performed, Issues memoranda, briefings, papers and documents, Senior Management Review evaluations and recommendations, Input for weekly activity reports and weekly staff meetings, Project/Concept Plans, Meeting minutes.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/SCI
- Possess strength in collaboration and teamwork within, between, and across organizational boundaries.
- Possess a certificate and/or bachelor’s degree or higher in math or a science-related field OR possess at least 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a certificate or bachelor’s degree.
- Expert-level skills with MS Office, data mining, ability to develop, manipulate, and maintain databases.
- Experience with spatial software, such as the ArcGIS suite and Tableau. Of particular importance is software packages used for spatial statistical analysis of intelligence data and tools for data visualization.
- Understanding of Geospatial Policies and data handling restrictions, including cross-domain data movement, and data sharing strategies with IC mission partners and customers.
- Working knowledge of statistical software, such as R or similar software.
