CEMML is a research, education and service unit within the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University ( CSU ). CEMML applies the latest and most appropriate science to promote the sustainable management of natural and cultural resources on Department of Defense (DoD) and other public lands. We provide technical support, conduct applied research, and offer career development and learning opportunities to support resource stewardship. A GIS Specialist position is available with the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands ( CEMML ). This position provides GIS and spatial services support to the US Army Garrison Hawaii ( USAG -HI) Directorate of Public Works ( DPW ) GIS database and Master Planning Division intranet site to include civil infrastructure and utilities. Responsibilities include updating and editing GIS data as needed, field data collection with GPS and map creation and printing. The employee will also be responsible for ensuring the GIS data meets all data standards outlined by the Army.
The position is located at Wheeler Army Airfield which is located on Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii.
Required Job Qualifications
+ BS or BA degree.
+ Experience in the management of geospatial data or similar relevant experience.
+ Experience with the ESRI suite of products or similar relevant experience.
+ The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. by proposed start date; CEMML will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
+ Candidates are required at a minimum to complete a NACI /SF85 and successfully pass a federal background check to remain eligible for employment by CSU .
+ Must be able to comply with all applicable regulations to obtain a Department of Defense Common Access Card ( CAC ) and public trust clearance:
+ In order to be eligible for a CAC , a non-U.S. nationals must have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three or more consecutive years for the required Tier 1 HSPD -12 CAC credentialing background investigation.

**Job Description**
AECOM is actively seeking a talented, energetic technology-minded Geographic Information System (GIS) professional for immediate employment in the Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) Installation Geospatial Information & Services (IGI&S) office as a seconded employee. The GIS Specialist is a full-time AECOM employee that will report to the Associate Vice President & GIS Sr Manager in the Technology Services Group and will support our United States Marine Corps (USMC) client within the Environment Business line. This position will be part of a team of GIS Specialists supporting the MCBH IGI&S Program with GIS data management, geospatial analysis and modeling, cartographic product development, and technical support. A successful candidate will work both independently and in close coordination with the project team to develop, deploy and support GIS across the installation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Gather and review technical requirements to meet project goals
+ Design and implement quality assurance procedures to complete technical quality reviews of GIS data and applications
+ Follow project plans to successfully execute assigned work
+ Maintain quality assurance of spatial and non-spatial data and processes as per defined standards
+ Maintain strong knowledge in existing and emerging GIS related software and technologies
+ Create and maintain GIS data in an ArcGIS Enterprise environment
+ Develop content within an enterprise ArcGIS Portal environment

**Job Summary**
AECOM is actively seeking three (3) talented, energetic technology-minded Geographic Information System (GIS) professionals for immediate employment in the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton Geospatial Information and Services (IGI&S) office as a seconded employee. The GIS Specialist position is a full-time AECOM employee that will report to the Associate Vice President & GIS Sr Manager in the Technology Services Group and will support our United States Marine Corps (USMC) client within the Environment Business line. This position will be part of a team of GIS Specialists supporting the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton IGI&S Program with GIS data management, geospatial analysis and modeling, cartographic product development, and technical support. A successful candidate will work both independently and in close coordination with the project team to develop, deploy and support GIS across the installation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Support the maintenance and implementation of the GIS data model for NENA Next Generation 9-1-1 Core Services for location validation and routing
+ Gather and review technical requirements to meet project goals
+ Design and implement quality assurance procedures to complete technical quality reviews of GIS data and applications
+ Follow project plans to successfully execute assigned work
+ Maintain quality assurance of spatial and non-spatial data and processes as per defined standards
+ Maintain strong knowledge in existing and emerging GIS related software and technologies

The GIS Specialist position is a full-time AECOM employee that will report to the Associate Vice President & GIS Sr Manager in the Technology Services Group and will support our United States Marine Corps (USMC) client within the Environment Business line. This position will be part of a team of GIS Specialists supporting the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton IGI&S Program with GIS data management, geospatial analysis and modeling, cartographic product development, and technical support. A successful candidate will work both independently and in close coordination with the project team to develop, deploy and support GIS across the installation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Support the maintenance and implementation of the GIS data model for NENA Next Generation 9-1-1 Core Services for location validation and routing
+ Gather and review technical requirements to meet project goals
+ Design and implement quality assurance procedures to complete technical quality reviews of GIS data and applications
+ Follow project plans to successfully execute assigned work
+ Maintain quality assurance of spatial and non-spatial data and processes as per defined standards
+ Maintain strong knowledge in existing and emerging GIS related software and technologies
+ Create and maintain GIS data in an ArcGIS Enterprise environment
+ Develop content within an enterprise ArcGIS Portal environment
+ Exhibit a solid understanding of geospatial data formats, coordinate systems, and GIS principles
+ Apply attention to detail with proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills
+ Communicate and collaborate with the project manager and project team lead to understand and document system/solution requirements

The GIS Specialist is a full-time AECOM employee that will report to the Associate Vice President & GIS Sr Manager in the Technology Services Group and will support our United States Marine Corps (USMC) client within the Environment Business line. This position will be part of a team of GIS Specialists supporting the MCLB Barstow IGI&S Program with GIS data management, geospatial analysis and modeling, cartographic product development, and technical support. A successful candidate will work both independently and in close coordination with the project team to develop, deploy and support GIS across the installation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Gather and review technical requirements to meet project goals
+ Design and implement quality assurance procedures to complete technical quality reviews of GIS data and applications
+ Follow project plans to successfully execute assigned work
+ Maintain quality assurance of spatial and non-spatial data and processes as per defined standards
+ Maintain strong knowledge in existing and emerging GIS related software and technologies
+ Create and maintain GIS data in an ArcGIS Enterprise environment
+ Develop content within an enterprise ArcGIS Portal environment
+ Solid understanding of geospatial data formats, coordinate systems, and GIS principles
+ Apply attention to detail with proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills
+ Communicate and collaborate with the project manager and project team lead to understand and document system/solution requirements
+ Organize, document, and communicate status updates to program leaders and relevant project teams
+ Develop visualizations and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS Pro, or Portal for ArcGIS to effectively communicate findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Develop and maintain project-level maps (e.g., sidewalk and street overlay projects), including line work and spatial documentation. Map and track permits (1,200-2,400/month), identifying and mapping relevant subsets. Join permit data with drawings and other datasets to create comprehensive spatial representations. Maintain metadata and ensure data integrity across mapping platforms. Represent permit and street reservation data (e.g., micro surfacing, overlays) in a geospatial format. Data Integration & Management Work with SETs (Senior Engineering Techs/Inspectors) to pull data from the data warehouse and make it accessible via GIS platforms. Tie together disparate datasets (permits, drawings, asset records) to support decision-making and visualization. Manage and update the OpenGov Asset Management Database with spatial data. CAD Work Perform CAD drafting and line work for new and ongoing infrastructure projects. Translate CAD drawings into GIS-compatible formats for mapping and analysis.

**AECOM's Technology Solutions Department in our Water Business Line is actively seeking a highly motivated, talented, and creative GIS Specialist** . In this role you will be part of a team that provides support through GIS data management, geospatial analysis and modeling, cartographic product development and other technical support. + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively and proactively communicate with the project team and diverse clients.
