Purpose
Oversee the GIS personnel and the company’s GIS database, including updating the database with all of the dailywork done by C&M street crews, from new and replaced installations, repaired and cut-off work. Oversee andenhance existing processes, create reports, identify and close gaps in processes, and perform data clean up andvalidation.

Have the knowledge of developing and implementing analysis tools (i.e. reports and software keys “short cutkeys”) that could be used by various department as an aide in their required reporting requirements, includingthe Company’s DIMP Plan.

The GIS, Spatial, and Data Analyst will work with large, spatial, and GIS data sets to pull, analyze, report, visualize, and interpret data for technical and non-technical audiences.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform use case analysis to identify data model requirements for climate data and visualization requests

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $58,000 - $175,000/year. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Additionally, SRE adheres to all state and federal requirements regarding salary to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws. Work Environment:
The primary work location of this position is Washington D.C. Metro area, remote work is allowed but not guaranteed. If you live outside the commutable area, travel expenses are not reimbursed to the primary work location.

POSITION PROFILE
The GIS Analyst will support the City of Houston’s Enterprise Geographic Information System (EGIS) by performing advanced GIS development and technical support. WORKING CONDITIONS
The position requires stooping, bending and/or lifting of items of up to 30 pounds with occasional periods of walking on rough surfaces.

VDOT's Central Office Maintenance Division requires advanced GIS support for one of their Programs.
Candidate must be able to take direction from the Program Manager to both create and manage the creation of GIS maps, map attributes, and associated mapping reports in support of their application.
This will include the ability to use and direct the use of ArcGIS in the performance of these duties.
Candidate must be able to use data submitted in Excel spreadsheets, databases, or other similar systems to create GIS maps and populate associated fields as per requirements.

Qualifications
