Key Responsibilities

The Role

The Global HR Business Lead supporting Technology and Product will play a critical role in aligning our HR strategy with business objectives. This role will provide strategic insight and hands-on partnership in areas such as leadership coaching, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, conflict management and compensation. The Global HR Business Lead will collaborate with senior leadership and their teams to drive performance, enhance employee engagement and support talent management initiatives across our global tech & product teams. How You'll Help Take Us There
  • Partner with the Global Management Team Leaders for Technology & Product and their leadership teams to build meaningful relationships and quickly gain credibility and establish trust.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders in Technology and Product to develop and implement HR strategies that support the business goals and foster a performance-driven culture.
  • Provide strategic leadership by analyzing workforce trends, identifying organizational gaps, and developing talent strategies and solutions that drive business performance.

  • Be accountable for the successful delivery/implementation of HR initiatives (e.g., advising on compensation decisions, driving organizational design, employee retention and engagement, and supporting leaders in managing change).
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations and effectively partner with Legal for risk mitigation.
  • Provide HR support across a variety of value-added initiatives in areas such as development, internal mobility, employee engagement, goal setting and performance management.
  • Collaborate with the Global HRBP team along with HR Ops, Compensation, Organizational Development and Recruitment to ensure company-wide success of people programs and initiatives.
  • Lead performance calibrations with business leaders to inform year-end compensation and pay for performance decisions.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal team as needed/required.
What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of experience working as a Human Resources Business Partner, preferably supporting a global population of 500+ employees
  • Experience supporting Technology and Product C-Level leadership and senior management in a complex and regulated environment
  • Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor their style as needed to effectively influence and develop relationships with all levels of leadership, employees, and peers
  • Experience with executive onboarding, talent management and development, retention, and compensation administration, plus a strong familiarity with a wide range of HR and recruiting policies, practices, and trends
  • Highly experienced in handling complex ER issues and risk mitigation
  • Strong excel skills with ability to work with HR reporting & analytics to generate insights and present findings back to the HR team and the business

**Position Summary:**
The Director, Global HR/IT Applications is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Human Resources Information System (Workday) with a focus on optimizing Workday (WD) functionality. This role ensures the HRIS supports the organization's business objectives, enhances user experience, and drives data integrity and security.
The Director will be responsible for managing a small team and successful delivery of HR IT initiatives/projects from requirements through enhancement design, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), release and sustainment. Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operational support of the system, building and maintaining the application roadmap, budget management, vendor management and demand management (capture, funnel, groom & prioritize) in alignment with business goals and user experience.

+ Monitor system usage and perform regular security assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
+ Provide security awareness communications for WD users to ensure they understand and comply with data protection protocols and access.
+ Establish and manage a data breach response plan in the event of a security incident.
Reporting & Analytics
+ Develop and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to stakeholders. Create dashboards, charts, and graphs to communicate with stakeholders and custom reports to meet the specific needs of business units.
+ Utilize analytics to provide insights and support decision-making. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and procedures.
+ Maintain and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and provide necessary data for audits and reviews.
Continuous Improvement
+ Identify, manage, and implement opportunities for process improvements within HR/IT systems and programs.
+ Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging technologies in HR/IT.

Vendor Management
+ Track vendors spend against allocated HRIS budget.

+ Oversee contracts and service agreements with WD and other third-party vendors. Ensure terms are met and renewals are timely.

Main Accountabilities

Strategic Partnerships

The Director, Global HR Business Partner will partner with business leaders to align human resources initiatives with organizational goals across various global regions.
