**What will I be doing?**
Responsible for the architecture and engineering of Hilton networks supporting all corporate and property locations. Responsible for Network and Network Security and strategic roadmap as directed while working as a member of Hilton's global network team. Collaborate with other technologies governed by Hilton's Global Network Engineering Team which includes VoIP, Video/Telepresence Collaboration, LAN/WAN, and Cyber Security. Lead all aspects of network engineering policies and operations, including network fundamentals (OSI Model), orchestration and programmability (scripting and API). Develop operating metrics for all elements of the corporate environment and actively manage network vendor and OEM performance. The position allows for 75% telecommuting from anywhere within the Dallas metropolitan area and 25% in office meetings.
**Requirements:**
Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and three years of experience as an IT Manager, Network & Security Director, or related. Require at least three years of hands-on experience in installing, designing, deploying network and network security devices with hybrid environments, including routers, switches, security devices, and cloud environments. Require at least three years of experience in management roles, leading global and multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to oversee large-scale projects from planning to execution. Require experience in presenting results to C-level executives. Require up to 25% domestic travel.

**What your day-to-day will be like:**
+ Handle the network design and architecture of Hilton's corporate and hotel networks while working with network support vendors and OEMs to implement designs and meet SLAs

+ Two (2) years of hands-on Meraki experience, including all MX, MS, and MR hardware and their configurations.
+ In-depth understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
+ Proven skill to diagnose and resolve global multi-site network connectivity issues.
+ Enterprise routing/switching, with BGP, OSPF, Ethernet, MPLS, VPN, and 802.11x technologies with mostly Cisco routers, Cisco/Meraki switches and Cisco firewalls.
+ Hands-on experience with designing networks using industry standards and best-practice design standards.
+ One or more of the following certifications are required: CCNA, CCDA, CMNO, CMNA or DevNet Associate
+ This is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis).
+ Travel up to 10%
**It would be useful if you have:**

You will lead programs with goals to improve infrastructure resource utilization and availability. Key job responsibilities
- Delivers programmatic customer solutions including deployment dependency mappings/RACI, removing systemic blockers from deployment pipeline via automation/process simplification.
- Manage dependencies between programs by anticipating risk, customer demand and negotiating the trade-off required to resolve issues and initiate corrective action.
- Drives continuous improvement of programmatic solutions, using data-driven trends and automated solutions to meet the needs of the customer.
