Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • PMI PMP certified, Agile experienced, and advanced MS Project skills are preferred.

The Product Development Quality Specialist - Consumer Products Role is part of the Global Product Development Quality team. Product Development Projects:
  • Lead the product innovation projects in Quality

The Senior Project Manager, Cell Therapy Cross Functional Capabilities (Senior Project Manager) is responsible for planning and delivery of Cell Therapy operations projects, programs, and/or business system releases as assigned. The Senior Project Manager will work with cross-functional business units including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial and IT to develop project charters, define and secure resources, support the budgeting process, build detailed project schedules, and manage and mitigate risks and issues.

The Senior Project Manager contributes to the success of the PPM team by applying a structured project management approach to complex projects that optimizes planning and delivery of the portfolio of projects, as well as contributes to maturing project management processes, tools, and methodologies to support execution of the portfolio of projects and enhancements to enable CTDO (Cell Therapy Development & Operations) late stage clinical and commercial operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within business and IT to support Cell Therapy
  2. Author project charters including definition of high-level timelines and budget needs by consulting with project team, SMEs, and other stakeholders as necessary
  3. Define, secure, and communicate resource plan
  4. Define and manage detailed project schedule including routine communication of progress, risks, and issues
  5. Understand interdependencies between business and technology delivery schedules as well as operational needs
  6. Manage risks and issues, including leading creation of mitigation plan and/or escalation as required
  7. Manage project change control for changes in scope and timeline
  8. Lead routine project team meetings
  9. Collaborate with change management resources as assigned to develop stakeholder engagement and communication plan; develop and deliver stakeholder communications as required
  10. Work creatively and analytically to solve problems demonstrating teamwork and innovation
  11. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, presentations, and risk assessments
  12. Lead process improvements within the PPM team applying lessons learned, best practices, and innovations to mature project management processes, tools, and methodologies
  13. Represent CTDO PPM to vendors, maintain appropriate vendor relationships, and manage vendor contracting process as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or similar area.
  2. 8+ years of project management experience in supply chain or manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical industry preferred).
  3. Excellent knowledge of and competency in project management processes, including planning, resource planning and allocation, risk and issue management
  4. Experience successfully leading large projects or programs, with impacts to multiple business units and systems
  5. Experience in a range of project management methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, SDLC)
  6. Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to work and drive issues to resolution independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
  7. Demonstrates high degree of executive presence with ability to deliver executive level presentations, challenge assumptions and drive decision making
  8. Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  10. Project management certification or designation desired
  11. Knowledge of applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar project management software, etc.
  12. Support diverse and inclusive work environment
  13. Ability to travel 5%

Molex is growing its Power & Signal Business Unit (PSBU) and we are looking for great people to grow with us. We are looking for a talented professional to join our high power connector Product Management team. You will identify new differentiated capabilities and work with our product development and strategic marketing teams to bring them to market. This position is expected to effectively collaborate with Engineering, Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and our Distribution Partners. Summarized below are the requirements for the position as well as responsibilities and associated expectations.

The position is located in Lisle, Illinois and requires 15% domestic travel and occasional international travel.

Responsibilities include:

  • Increase revenue, profitability, and market share of assigned products
  • Identify new differentiated products that are broadly applicable to our current and potential customers
  • Concept test these new ideas with Sales, target customers, and Distributors
  • Perform a financial analysis to ensure that each proposed development will meet Molex's profitability requirements
  • Create Voice of the Customer product requirements that specify the needed features to be developed by Engineering
  • Work with our Legal team and Engineering to submit utility and design patent applications
  • Review Engineering design proposals to ensure that they meet the requested product requirements
  • Create promotional material and sample kits for product launches
  • Train Sales, customers, and distributors on new product capabilities
  • Manage the EXTreme product family roadmap
  • Work with our plants on capacity planning and cost reduction activities
  • Review and approve pricing requests

Qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of experience in product management and/or sales
  • Track record of growing revenue and profitability
  • Ability to guide customers to the appropriate product solutions
  • Understanding of business metrics and data used to gauge product success
  • Organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize and self-monitor workload
  • Skill in presenting to large groups
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively work with co-workers and external contacts to build relationships, respond positively to situations, and influence others
  • Willingness to travel to customers and distributors as needed
  • Technical degree
  • Experience in high power interconnect solutions (connectors, busbars, and cable assemblies)
  • Experience and knowledge in the Datacenter, Electrification, or Industrial markets
