Verkada is seeking a Global Solutions Engineer with expert experience in Cloud Security, IoT Systems, Networking, Linux systems, Security Surveillance and Access Control. This individual will partner directly with their territory account executives to expand the Verkada footprint upmarket into Fortune 500 companies. Responsibilities include directly interfacing with customers/partners throughout the sales process, overcoming technical objections, assisting customers in designing deployments with Verkada Products and providing technical assistance to territory account reps. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to learn quickly and work independently while making impactful results for the company remotely.
Responsibilities
- Be the subject matter authority on the full Verkada suite of products and offerings and articulate the value added benefits to customers throughout the sales process.
- Act as a trusted advisor for Verkada Customers and overcome objections while securing the technical win for Verkada.
- Effectively present the Verkada solution to all levels of customer, from C-level executives to loss prevention managers and directors of IT.
- Work directly with your Account Managers to develop territory strategy for Verkada.
- Design Verkada solutions that range from: Network Security recommendations/bandwidth requirements, choosing proper Verkada products for Physical Security and deployment. Cloud Security RFP's/Documents, LTE deployments.
- Stay up to date on the security and IoT industry by attending and presenting at strategic conferences and providing thought leadership within the market
- Be a Product Technical Evangelist in training/educating partners, customers, and internal employees on the latest Verkada product offerings.
- Write White Papers and Knowledge Base articles about Verkada Products, features, and integrations.
- 35% Travel may be required
- Entrepreneurial and positive attitude with a strong desire to learn.
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, with a proven track record of working with Fortune 500 companies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information and Computer Technology, Networking, IT Security from an accredited university.
- Strong background in Networking: Experience with HTTPS/SSL, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP servers, Firewalls and software systems.
- Outstanding written & verbal English communication skills in order to clearly and efficiently articulate technical matters with customers and partners.
- Able to work and adapt to an ever evolving workplace and company.
- Genuine excitement for software/hardware products, Cloud Security and IoT devices and can speak to how they work.

Annual Pay Range

As a member of ADP's Global Integration Center, the Global Solutions Designer (GSD) is responsible globally for designing the essential components of ADP's Global Payroll products, solutions, and services for our international clients. In this client facing role. the GSD sets the holistic technical design, the client expectations, projects confidence in ADP's capabilities and guides clients through decisions across the various countries and solutions being implemented. This global design along with GSD collaboration serves as the roadmap for each in country implementation team to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality delivery.

About the Role:
We are looking for outstanding technology leaders to join our Solution Architect organization to ensure that our product (TiDB) and solution align with the needs of our customers crossing SaaS and other ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) segments. The PingCAP Solution Architects team is responsible for researching TiDB's most advantageous business and technical scenarios in different global markets, finding the most efficient GTM strategies, and providing these solutions and strategies to business teams in different regions while guiding our customers and users to craft and build reliable, scalable systems using our data platform through professional service. Responsibilities- Lead the team to support business fleet in North America, EMEA, APAC, and Japan, take responsibility in the new economy industry, ensure the achievement of relevant business metrics at the solution level, and enhance the Proof of Concept (POC) success rate of account teams.
- Responsible for market insight into the global new economy industries segments, in-depth understanding of the industry's business scenarios, being able to grasp the industry's market and data technology development trends, develop and implement scenario-based industry solutions, and find the entry of products in various industries, safeguard products, solutions and the implementation of cooperation ecology.
- Advise and guide customers on architectures, patterns, and strategies for making the best use of TiDB, through efficient tooling and interactive user journey.
- As a technical expert, deeply understand and develop trends in data technology partnering with worldwide cloud vendors with high-quality better-together content and technical joint solutions.
- Establish industry influence, organize internal and external industry technology sharing, and disseminate distributed database technology, industry data architecture, and best solutions practices.
- Display a strong understanding of solutions innovation. The ideal candidate will have past experience working with customers, especially big accounts and leading architecture teams.
- Professional experience could be 8+ years, Master in at least one database technology stack and product, have in-depth research and relevant content output in this direction; have a broad view of data technology and be familiar with mainstream data products, including RDMS, distributed system, cloud native data technology etc.
- Possess diverse industry business and technology expertise, with a comprehensive understanding of industry scenarios, SaaS know-how in both the business model and data architecture.
- Proficient in scenario abstraction and aligning with data architecture, with a proven track record in industry influence with internal and external presenting, evangelizing and enabling the field teams with proactive exploration of data architecture needs, and guiding solution design.
- Demonstrated expertise in selling databases and deploying applications with leading cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.
- Outstanding communication and program presentation skills, enabling Possess a strong sense of curiosity and a continuous learning mindset in the realms of databases, cloud computing, big data, and other emerging technologies.
