Position Summary
This internship is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in supply chain and product development while working with a supportive, cross-functional team. As an intern, you'll help keep product and inventory data up to date, support new item setups, assist with invoice and inventory reconciliations, and play a role in making sure products are delivered on time. You'll also get hands-on experience with systems like PLM and SAP, learn how different teams work together to bring products to market, and contribute to projects that improve processes along the way. This role is perfect for students who are detail-oriented, eager to learn in a fast-paced business environment.
Responsibilities :
- Update scrap rates and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Centric PLM
- Maintain and update delivery dates and costing in SAP
- Enter item dimensions in Centric
- Assist with new item setup (by entering and updating supplier quotes and item codes)
- Distribute clear and concise meeting recaps
- Reconcile vendor invoices against shipment records
- Assist with inventory reconciliation tasks and data accuracy
- Coordinate and communicate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on key updates and deadlines
- Review open purchase orders with production planners and manufacturers to ensure on time delivery
- Oversee inventory transitions related to new Bills of Materials for active open orders.
Requirements :
