We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented International Tax & Compliance Manager with a strong background in either Big 4 public accounting or in-house tax management at a multinational corporation (MNC). This role will be responsible for managing and executing global tax compliance processes, ensuring the company meets its international tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions, and supporting broader tax reporting and strategic initiatives.
**Responsibilities**
+ Research, plan, and execute expansion strategies for assigned expansion countries including entity type selection and tax implications thereof, and the sourcing and management of local business solution partner services to minimize administrative burdens to the enterprise balanced with internal resources.
+ Lead and manage the international tax compliance process across multiple countries, including corporate income tax, indirect taxes, and other local tax filings.
+ Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns in collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.
+ Support quarterly and annual tax reporting, including global tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and tax disclosures under IFRS/US GAAP.
+ Monitor developments in global tax legislation, including BEPS, Pillar 2, and local law changes, and assess business impact.
+ Assist in managing tax audits, inquiries, and disputes in various jurisdictions.
+ Collaborate with transfer pricing teams to ensure alignment with local and global requirements, including documentation and intercompany transactions.
+ Drive improvements and streamline compliance processes, leveraging technology and automation tools where appropriate.
+ Partner with finance, legal, and business teams on international projects, including expansion, restructuring, and acquisitions.
+ Mentor and support junior team members or outsourced compliance support.
+ Assumes other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed within the Controller department within Planning and Financial Affairs.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree, (Master's preferred) in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
+ 4+ years of relevant international tax experience gained from:
+ A Big 4 accounting firm, focusing on corporate and international tax compliance, or
+ A multinational corporate tax department, handling cross-border tax reporting and compliance.
+ Strong technical knowledge of international tax laws, including OECD guidelines and local tax regimes.
+ Hands-on experience with tax compliance software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax, SAP, Oracle) and proficiency in Excel.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a global business environment.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
+ Familiarity with global tax reporting tools and process automation.
+ Exposure to tax provision software and tax reporting under IFRS or US GAAP.
+ Experience supporting tax aspects of international business operations, M&A, or restructurings.
+ Experience in Workday and Adaptive Planner are pluses.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Lead the quarter-end and year-end financial reporting processes and prepare and/or review various aspects of the worldwide tax provision for domestic and foreign entities.
+ Review and/or preparation of schedules and memorandums in support of global tax accounting matters such as valuation allowances, unremitted earnings, and other technical tax accounting matters.
+ Preparation and analysis of certain income tax components of the Company's quarterly SEC financial statements.

**Education & Experience**
Required:
+ BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required;
+ 7+ years of relevant tax experience in a Big 4/regional accounting firm and/or multi-national corporate tax department with a focus on tax accounting.
+ Hands-on experience in preparing and/or reviewing domestic and international tax provisions under ASC740 for a complex global manufacturing organization.
+ Technical proficiency in the area of ASC 740 involving both domestic and international operations, as well as understanding of the proper application of special areas such as interim tax reporting, intra-period tax allocation, purchase accounting, outside basis differences, valuation allowances, and uncertainty in income taxes is required.
+ Ability to perform complex tax research and analysis and effectively communicate results in the form of discussion, presentation, or technical memorandum.
+ Familiarity with US international tax concepts (GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, APB23) a plus.
+ Experience working with SAP, BPC, OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax a plus.

This is a newly created role on the Global Tax Reform team. Reporting to the **Senior Director, Global Tax Strategy,** the **Senior Manager of Global Tax Strategy** will play a key role in shaping Veralto's global tax initiatives. This includes driving strategic tax efforts, supporting M&A integrations, and assisting with transfer pricing compliance and strategy. You will partner closely with treasury on cash management initiatives, act as a trusted advisor to operating companies on tax implications of business decisions, and provide international tax advisory support. The role also involves managing legal entity structures, overseeing external advisors and budgets, implementing process improvements through technology, and ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and reporting requirements.
This position is part of the Global Tax team based in Waltham, MA. The role offers flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement from our Waltham office, but we are also open to candidates across the U.S. who are interested in a fully remote opportunity.
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Strategy - Co-develop and assisttax efforts in support of the company's global strategies while working directly with the Senior Director ofGlobal Tax Strategy. Initiate and facilitate operating model optimization as well as rationalization efforts.
+ M&A - partner withthe Senior Manager of M&A on post-deal integration.
+ Transfer pricing - Assist with transfer pricing compliance (functional interviews, transfer pricing documentation preparation (local files and master files), CbCR and CbCR notifications, etc.), as well as transfer pricing strategy and controversy while working directly with the Director of Global Transfer Pricing.
+ Cash Management - Support initiatives addressing intercompany cash flows including repatriation, intercompany loans, and other transactions as identified through partnership with the treasury team.

**The essential requirements of the job include:**
+ 8+ years of cross-border structuring experience, proficient in the US/international technical tax rules and regulations involving global tax planning concepts.
+ Pre- and post-acquisition planning including integration.
+ Transfer pricing and supply chain planning.
+ Operational experience in a complex, global enterprise and/or experience in amanager or equivalent position with a major law or accounting firm advising complex global enterprises.
+ Bachelor's degree in Tax and/or Finance/Accounting required. CPA and/or JD required.
+ A MST, MBA, a plus.
+ Understanding of US tax principles and US tax accounting (current and deferred tax) rules pursuant to ASC740.

The Senior Professional, Application Development (SAP – Global Tax Projects) job builds, maintains, integrates and implements software applications within the organization. The expected salary for this position is $95,000-140,000.
