**What you'll do:**
**Primary Function:**
The Government Accounting Analyst will perform key government accounting and financial tasks for various sites focusing on government indirect bid and actual rate proposals development, calculation of the allowable HQ cost allocations, government compliance assessments of the sites' business systems, extensive variance analysis and external government and internal compliance audits.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Under management supervision, support the development of the compliant with FAR and CAS government indirect forward pricing, provisional billing and actual rates as applicable for various sites.
+ Perform extensive data reconciliation and cost trend analysis.
+ Monitor cost allowability and ensure that unallowable costs are properly identified, segregated, and removed from claimed costs in the government Forward Pricing Rates, annual Incurred Cost Submission proposals and billings.
+ Support internal and external government audits and inquiry matters. Maintain adequate audit related records and documentation.
+ Assist management with internal compliance self-assessments of the sites' accounting and Engineering Time keeping processes.
+ Support special transformation and process improvement projects.
+ Assist with work instructions development and periodic review and updates when applicable.
+ Ensure thorough understanding and adherence to relevant company policies and government regulations pertaining to the assigned scope of work.
