**Responsibilities**
+ Assists head of government affairs with strategic planning for known and potential regulatory activities related to the business and industry areas.
+ Builds and maintains professional relationships with members of federal, state, and local government entities and agencies.
+ Represent organization with trade associations and industry committees with coordination of the head of government affairs.
+ Collaborates with industry advocates to build areas of common interest.
+ Introduces legislative and public policy changes that will support company operations.
+ Research and monitor proposed legislation and emerging trends related to issues that are important to Fujifilm Holdings America, Corp to design and execute advocacy strategies, in partnership with internal subject matter experts; issues to track may include healthcare policy, biopharmaceutical manufacturing, medical device, tax, trade, export controls, electronic materials, imaging, and electronics policies.
+ Sign-on letters and legislation support requests - vet and approve requests to sign issue letters and support legislation from a variety of organizations and policymakers.
+ Create policy briefs on issue areas that can be shared at the executive leadership level.
+ Completes all briefing packets for all states and policy issues at the federal level.
+ Provide weekly reports on policy issues to executive management.
+ Tracks, manages, and keeps on task all project management for government affairs team.
+ Tracks all lobbying activities for government affairs and prepares appropriate reports.
+ Performs other duties as required.
**Required Skills/Education**
+ 5-8+ years working for federal or state government OR 5+ years working as a lobbyist in life science, pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
+ Bachelor's degree. (Advanced degree in public policy, law, political science or related fields a plus.)
+ In-depth knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes.
+ Experience advising, briefing, and presenting to high-ranking government officials.
+ Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to assess and execute political opportunities, connect dots and make connections, and engage key contacts to drive advocacy strategies.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Develops strategic direction for capture administration, driving proposal development operations, presentations and communications to produce high-quality marketplace proposals.

The Senior Government Accounting Manager will play a critical role to ensure GE Aerospace is compliant with the Cost Accounting Standards and internal policies and procedures:
+ Major contributor to annual Disclosure Statement (DS) updates as well as support of government audits for prior year DS revisions.
+ Perform General Dollar Magnitude (GDM) modeling and analysis to pinpoint impact of potential CAS non-compliances, cost accounting practice changes (CAP) and DS revisions.
+ Support the Innoveering business as the Government Accounting Compliance Lead
+ Develop, review, and publish indirect overhead and direct labor pricing, billing, and final (ICS) rates
+ Support ICS and proposal audits

+ Build open and positive relationships with internal business partners and USG customers

Position Summary
We are looking for a Principal Data Scientist to join our Government Consumer Analytics team at CVS Health. This high-level individual contributor will partner closely with the AVP of Government Consumer Analytics to drive hands on technical excellence across the most complex projects across the portfolio, lead a culture of technical rigor and excellence, and define key standards across an organization of ~80 data scientists and engineers.
Description / Fundamental Components:
Hands-On Data Science Excellence for Highly Complex Projects (60%)

Anticipates and solves strategic and high-risk business problems with broad impact on the business area by applying leading-edge theories and techniques to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions

Leads development and execution of new and/or highly complex algorithms and statistical predictive models and determines analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes

Establishes analytical rigor and statistical methods to analyze large amounts of data, using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses

Evaluate advanced industry-leading approaches and determine which to incorporate into CVSH technical approach

Work across 2-3 highly complex projects at a time (50/30/20), with a combination of hands-on, problem solving, and coaching
Technical Development & Mentorship (25%)

Hold team-wide office hours regarding technical challenges and problem solving

Required Qualifications

10+ years of progressively complex related analytics experience

8+ years' experience leading analytics project from concept to delivery, coordinating across a diverse group of stakeholders, anticipating and preventing roadblock and driving business impact

8+ years' experience with advanced analytics tools and languages, analyzing large data sets from multiple data sources
-
8+ years' experience solving analytics problems using advanced statistics, machine learning, mathematical algorithms and predictive modeling
-
8+ years' experience with: Python, SQL, Cloud applications (GCP, AWS, Azure), machine learning, casual inference and experimental design
-
5+ years' industry experience demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas to various audiences

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
