The opportunity

Ernst & Young (EY) US Government and Public Sector (GPS) practice is a robust and emerging practice with tremendous potential for growth - and we are prepared to tap into that potential. Our US GPS practice combines an understanding of the public sector's diverse needs, focused on delivering improved public services, with private sector leading practices. We are seeing tremendous growth within the GPS team and there is a great need for rising leaders. Unprecedented challenges require us to be connected, responsive and insightful. Our team is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on work order management for LACS login. The ideal candidate will be responsible for routine DevOps tasks, including managing metadata files and Jenkins jobs, as well as handling AWS configurations and auto-scaling. This role requires strong client interaction skills and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Your key responsibilities

  • Work Order Management: Focus on LACS login work orders, ensuring efficient processing and resolution.

  • DevOps Routine Tasks: Manage metadata files (jobs) and Jenkins jobs to promote work effectively.

  • AWS Management: Configure and manage AWS environments, including auto-scaling and other configurations.

  • Test Account Creation: Utilize AMD (GraphQL) Playground and Test Account Creation Tool (TACT) to create test accounts for users, primarily in the ICAM Test environment.

  • SSO Integrations:

  • New Integrations: Collaborate with service providers to integrate new SSO solutions with ICAM SSO. This includes creating metadata XML files, adding them to the SAML Metadata repository, and deploying them across various environments.

  • Existing Integrations: Update and maintain existing SSO integrations by modifying metadata XML files and redeploying them as necessary.

  • SSO Catalog Management: Add tiles to the SSO Catalog, enabling users to access their applications seamlessly. This involves updating entries in the SSO Catalog database.

Skills and attributes for Success

  • Familiarity with Java, GraphQL, Git, Agile methodologies, MySQL databases, XML, curl, LDAP/AD, Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, and AWS.

  • Experience with Harness.io is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in work.

  • Ability to troubleshoot SSO issues using SAML tracer in Chrome.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients.

  • Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $104,800 to $92,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is 125,800 to 218,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

+ Introduces legislative and public policy changes that will support company operations.
+ Research and monitor proposed legislation and emerging trends related to issues that are important to Fujifilm Holdings America, Corp to design and execute advocacy strategies, in partnership with internal subject matter experts; issues to track may include healthcare policy, biopharmaceutical manufacturing, medical device, tax, trade, export controls, electronic materials, imaging, and electronics policies.
+ Sign-on letters and legislation support requests - vet and approve requests to sign issue letters and support legislation from a variety of organizations and policymakers.
+ Create policy briefs on issue areas that can be shared at the executive leadership level.
+ Completes all briefing packets for all states and policy issues at the federal level.
+ Provide weekly reports on policy issues to executive management.
+ Tracks, manages, and keeps on task all project management for government affairs team.
+ Tracks all lobbying activities for government affairs and prepares appropriate reports.
+ Performs other duties as required.
**Required Skills/Education**
+ **5-8+ years working with federal government policy in focus areas of: life science, pharmaceutical, medical device industry, or electronic materials/semi-conductor chips OR 5+ years working as a lobbyist in life science, pharmaceutical or medical device industry, or electronic materials/semi-conductor chips.**
+ Bachelor's degree. (Advanced degree in public policy, law, political science or related fields a plus.)
+ In-depth knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes.
+ Experience advising, briefing, and presenting to high-ranking government officials.
+ Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to assess and execute political opportunities, connect dots and make connections, and engage key contacts to drive advocacy strategies.
+ Strong research and analytical skills particularly related to legislation and emerging trends.

+ $110,000 - $165,000 depending on experience
