**What You Need**
**Minimum Job Requirements:**
+ Knowledge of basic principles one or more of the following: chemical synthesis, laser spectroscopy, high magnetic fields, energetic materials, and/or radiological materials.
+ Experience in safe laboratory procedures.
+ Laboratory experience demonstrating an attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
Education/Experience: Currently enrolled in a PhD program in the physical sciences (chemistry, physics, optical science, etc.) other related field. Must be enrolled in 6 semester credit hours (or full-time equivalent). Must currently have and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).

The Engineered Materials Group (MST-7) provides multidisciplinary expertise in materials science ranging from polymers and foams to target fabrication and materials discovery. This expertise is focused on delivering technology solutions for national security missions. The group has great breadth and depth in many aspects of polymer science and engineering, such as a strong coatings capability, including physical and chemical vapor deposition, a suite of polymer additive manufacturing instrumentation, and extensive characterization and forensics capabilities. In particular, MST-7 applies an extensive knowledge of chemistry, physics, materials science, chemical engineering, and mechanical engineering to study matter under various environmental and extreme conditions relevant to our customers. MST-7 is involved in many research programs, such as inertial confinement fusion, nuclear weapons programs, including core and enhanced surveillance, directed stockpile and lifetime extension programs, global security, homeland defense, and civilian applications of materials technologies. Job Summary:
MFT Graduate Student Trainee will provide comprehensive community-based therapy services to children and their families using standard therapy practices and documentation protocols according to the Department of Mental Health (DMH). The MFT Graduate Student Trainee is responsible for meeting weekly service delivery expectations, carrying a caseload of clients, dependent on service delivery, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records using the electronic health record system, EXYM, for all services rendered, in accordance with State of California and the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. MFT Graduate Student Trainee will be responsible for providing the following services: intake assessment (an extensive bio-psychosocial history, diagnosis, and treatment plan); individual and group psychotherapy; crisis intervention when needed; targeted case management (i.e. linkage to additional support services) as clinically indicated. Students will also participate in a multi-disciplinary team aimed at integration and collaboration.

- Conducts in-office and in-school sessions with clients following their initiative in the development and achievement of their case plan goals.
- Works collaboratively with clients and the clinical team to develop a comprehensive assessment, treatment plan and desired treatment outcomes.
- Participates in staff meetings, case conferences, training, and professional consultation as necessary.
- Maintains clients records related to assessment, treatment, progress toward goals and objectives, discharge summary, and treatment outcomes that are accurate, concise, timely, and useful for coordinating treatment team planning, monitoring, and review.

Job Summary:
MFT Graduate Student Trainee will provide comprehensive community-based therapy services to children and their families using standard therapy practices and documentation protocols according to the Department of Mental Health (DMH). The MFT Graduate Student Trainee is responsible for meeting weekly service delivery expectations, carrying a caseload of clients, dependent on service delivery, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records using the electronic health record system, EXYM, for all services rendered, in accordance with State of California and the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. MFT Graduate Student Trainee will be responsible for providing the following services: intake assessment (an extensive bio-psychosocial history, diagnosis, and treatment plan); individual and group psychotherapy; crisis intervention when needed; targeted case management (i.e. linkage to additional support services) as clinically indicated. Students will also participate in a multi-disciplinary team aimed at integration and collaboration.
