Our client, a pioneering firm specializing in sustainable construction, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Construction Project Manager to join their fully remote team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about green building practices and committed to delivering high-quality, environmentally responsible projects. You will oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction planning and design coordination to site management and project close-out, all while championing sustainable methodologies. This is a fully remote position, requiring strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively from a distance.

Key responsibilities for this remote role include:

• Leading and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, with a strong emphasis on sustainability.
• Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and overseeing their execution.
• Coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Conducting regular site visits and inspections (where feasible, or through trusted local representatives) to monitor progress, safety, and quality control.

• Overseeing the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability criteria are met.
• Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns promptly.

• Managing change orders and resolving any disputes or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.

This is a fully remote position. We require a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree and/or LEED AP certification is highly desirable. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a significant focus on green building projects, is essential. Proven experience leading large-scale commercial or residential construction projects is required. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are critical. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and a strong understanding of sustainable building technologies are mandatory.
