Our Tower Construction Crew members install tower foundations, equipment shelter foundations, access roads and compound areas at tower and communication sites throughout the Midwestern states.
Job Description:
- Travel, out of town, for up to two weeks at a time.
- Responsible for excavating footings, tower foundations, tower anchors, grounding trenches and power and telephone trenches.
- Installs ground rods and ground rings and is responsible for insuring all Thermo Welded joints are acceptable.
- Glues all conduits together in accordance with the site drawings and the site supervisor's instruction.
- Tie rebar, pour required concrete and is responsible for finishing and rubbing foundations and slabs.
- Backfills and packs all excavations to prevent settling.
- Drives company vehicles to the construction site and uses these vehicles to deliver material to other construction sites within the Continental United States.
- Concrete testing including slump and compression strength tests
- Operation of skid-steers, backhoes, excavators, compacting equipment
- Maintain a good driving record
- Must be able to obtain a CDL within 90 days of employment
- Receive and follow direction of crew chief
- Assist in ensuring trucks and equipment are well maintained and organized

Summary/Objective:
Assist Field Operations staff in all aspects of maintaining a professional baseball playing surface for the Sugar Land Space Cowboys. This position is responsible for performing all game day field preparations that include but are not limited to; infield preparations, mound and home plate repairs, batting practice set-up and tear down, pre-game field preparation and post-game field repair. Involved in all aspects of turf maintenance including mowing, edging, sod repair, top-dressing and aerification, site specific IPM and fertilization programs. Position may also include working other non-game day events.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

- Assist in the execution of infield tarp pulls.

Required
- Able to work long hours in various weather conditions
