Reporting to the Hach President, the Vice President, Veralto Enterprise Systems (VES) will be a key member of the Hach senior management team responsible for leading the strategy design/implementation of VES to support Hach's continued success in driving technology innovation, commercial execution and Lean across the globe.
This executive will have the overall responsibility of identifying and leading the roadmap that will embed VES as part of the culture allowing Hach to achieve their Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. The Vice President, Veralto Enterprise System (VES) will have full leadership responsibility for Hach VES activities focused on all areas of the VES toolset, including fundamentals, lean, leadership and growth. This position will provide coaching and training of senior leaders and associates to enable process improvements and sustainment of stronger results using VES tools, analytics, and improved performance reporting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ A key member of the L1 leadership team responsible for defining, developing and leading the strategy design and overall implementation of VES Capability across and VES Certification roadmap Hach globally.
+ Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in QDCI (Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation) that is tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging VES tools, consulting skills, and the change management process
+ Leader of a team of global VES practitioners who are responsible for leading and executing the daily implementation of VES processes and tools through their work with associates and management to guide and facilitate activities and provide any necessary supplies or resources.
+ Consult with senior leaders about the pain points in their functions, determine how VES can be applied.
+ Champion the use of the PSP process and partner to identify which VES tool must be applied and when.
+ Provide guidance and support for Obeya/Growth rooms.
+ Successfully lead with the VES Innovation tool set or similar innovation tools; benchmark with Veralto Operating Companies for VES best practices.
+ Periodically review commercial growth success with Business Unit and commercial leaders, form assessment of Hach's success in "leading through VES" in our commercial areas
+ Support global management in the planning, facilitation, implementation, and sustainment of kaizen activities, benchmark tours, and new employee orientation.
+ Guide pre-work and sustainment of the Kaizen process and provide training on key VES Tools (Kaizen, PSP, Daily Management, etc.); ensure and conduct regular reviews of kaizen charter creation, review, approval, and pre-work that drive successful kaizen preparation, and kaizen sustainment.
+ Drive VES immersion for L1 leaders and mentor Business VESL´s in application of VES.
+ Engage the network of VES leaders across Veralto to identify best practices.
+ Lead a VES organization that will directly provide formal and informal VES training and coaching. Augment with other sources of training and coaching (VESO and outside sources). Improve VES training and facilitation by pursuing certification in VES tools for self and others.
+ Audit existing processes and systems to assess/determine actions required for improvements.
+ Analyze data and processes to evaluate improvement opportunities for quality improvement impact. Provides input and recommendations for the identification and selection of improvement projects.
+ Assist in the development of action plans in support of +QDIP improvement projects.
+ Participate in appropriate daily management, KPI, Operational and PD reviews.
+ Communicate and drive "Best Practices" across the business and facilitate Veralto leadership benchmarking sessions.
+ Manage team including performance management, compensation increases, development actions, consulting on career aspirations, extending support to indirectly supervised associates.
+ Develop succession capability and build talent funnels to ensure growth objectives for Veralto.
+ Establish and manage the VES function budget.
+ Facilitate the Annual business Planning process and align VES initiatives with business priorities.
+ Support and align on integration of new acquisitions.
+ Ability to commit to 50% of required business travel.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred (Physical Sciences or Engineering). The successful candidate's educational background may also include an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or Operations, or another relevant industry-related field. Masters in a related field or MBA preferred.
+ Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience leading various lean processes in different functions with exposure to Toyota Production Systems, Six Sigma and/or VES. Significant practitioner experience in quality principles and technical tools (problem analysis, statistical tools, design of experiments, variation reduction, design for six sigma, control charts) and similar experience building a strategy and leading improvement efforts in a variety of functional areas such as Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain and for the overall business.
+ Demonstrated ability to build a strategy though the identification of gaps and root causes, then executing on countermeasures and leading through influence.
+ Substantial experience in a multinational senior leadership position with ideal background and experience in Industrial and Manufacturing businesses, experience in global companies producing products in a complex global environment.
+ A 'Gemba based' leader who has demonstrated experience working with Teams at Gemba to drive great VES adoption with an eye towards 'hands-on' learning. Examples include working in Operations Cells with Production Engineers or working with R&D Teams installing Visual Project Management.
+ Experience and working knowledge/application of LEAN tools and concepts preferred.
+ Great computer skills (data analysis, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, statistical tools).
+ Must be able to set and attain goals and initiate actions to resolve problems and improve products and processes.
+ Must be able to provide concise executive summaries of business performance issues, changes needed or made, results delivered.
+ Excellent communication skills to work with individuals across all levels of the organization and training others.

We are looking for a Test Engineer focused on developing design verification and production test systems for newly developed Hach products to ensure they meet their performance, quality, and reliability requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to optimize your technical skills in improving manufacturing quality and product performance! This includes activities such as historical data analysis, test design, documentation, and implementation/validation of equipment and process changes.
This position is part of the Test Engineering team located in Loveland, CO and will be on-site.
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Design, develop and deploy automated production test systems to Manufacturing Operations.
+ Design and develop design verification test systems for new product designs.
+ Participate in creation of test requirements and test strategies.
+ Provide cost and schedule estimates for test systems developed.
+ Ensure test system designs meet testability and reliability criteria.
+ May fabricate test systems as required.
+ Provide test system support to the Operations team by resolving issues and providing training on deployed test systems
**The essential requirements of the job include:**
+ B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or physical science. Associates Degree plus 10 years of engineering experience may substitute for Bachelor's degree.
+ 5+ years of experience in hardware (instrument) test system design preferred.
+ Demonstrated experience in common test software tools (i.e. National Instruments LabVIEW, Test Stand Certificate, etc.).
+ Demonstrated experience applying statistical principles to analyze data.
+ Experience integrating test system peripherals, such as printers and scanners.
+ Experience working with common data communication methods and devices (i.e. USB, Modbus, RS-485, etc.).
+ Experience with manufacturing quality and control tools (i.e. pFMEA, Gauge R&R, etc.) is a plus.

Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Framingham, Ma
Hours/Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm
Type: 6 Months Contract Starting
Pay: $22/hour starting
Responsibilities:
+ Receive, retrieve, and prepare samples for analysis in compliance with SOPs and safety standards
+ Perform sample preparation, including aliquoting, manual extraction, reagent prep, labeling, and liquid rack setup
+ Support GCMS testing and other analytical activities as needed
+ Accurately record and enter data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
+ Maintain laboratory organization, equipment, and supply inventory
+ Troubleshoot sample discrepancies and ensure accurate documentation
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline
+ Strong pipetting skills and attention to detail
+ Experience working with analytical instrumentation
+ Comfortable with hands-on, physical work, including twisting and untwisting tight sample tube caps
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced lab environment
+ Excellent data documentation and organizational skills

Insight Global is looking to hire a laboratory technician for a client of ours in the Des Moines, IA area. Below are general responsibilities.
Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities, e.g., Quality Manual, SOPs, and Methods.
Adhere to appropriate quality measures to meet or exceed the standards set by ISO/IEC 17025, government regulatory (cGMP, GLP), and company requirements relevant to assigned duties.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations relative to assigned analytical work; maintain and assist others in maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Demonstrate proficiency in at least one core method and ability to conduct at least one other assigned method with no more than 25% supervision.
Demonstrate ability to operate all required basic lab equipment within department.
Set up batches of samples to weigh and weigh samples.
Perform timely and accurate analysis of samples to meet customer commitments, including but not limited to, preparing samples for analysis, using appropriate analysis methods and techniques, and applying appropriate data reduction.
Maintain a neat and accurate record system; keep accurate records of work performed on a daily basis and as needed for quality control tests or regulatory purposes; record test data and results for samples in logbook, record book or BookMaster and enter the data or results into eLIMS either manually or through automatic export.
Identify any need for rechecks of samples.
Maintain clean glassware and prepare solutions for use in the daily testing of assigned samples.
Identify method/matrix/analytical difficulties and report these together with proposed solutions to Department Leader or supervisor.
Hourly rate for this position offers up to $17.50 and is dependent on years of experience and skills coming in with.
