Material Handlers perform any of the required functions in the Distribution Area to ensure that all daily requirements are met. Activities include supplying assembly and filling lines with components and transfer finished goods out of production.
Material Handlers are expected to perform material handling activities in a manner consistent with manufacturing department's goals and objectives, while adhering to workplace safety policies and procedures. Position Responsibilities:
⁃ Loads and unloads materials shipped to and from interplant and outside facilities.
⁃ Verify the accuracy of any transactions and compare it to what was actually produced, including physical inspection of goods to validate condition.
⁃ Operate manual and power material handling equipment to retrieve, putaway and replenish materials throughout the facility and load onto transportation vehicles.
⁃ Utilize Warehouse management systems to document and process shipping and receiving orders.
⁃ Ensure correct pallets are used and built based on EXACTA and Customer supplier criteria.
⁃ Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control as required.
⁃ Troubleshoot and communicate problems to ensure timely turnover in shipping/sortation area.
⁃ Complete a Pre⁃Shift Checklist on all powered material handling equipment including battery water, charging, and cleaning.
⁃ Maintain a clean work environment, including sorting pallets, wrapping stacked cardboard on pallets, and communicating any quality changes.
⁃ Follow all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP's).
⁃ Perform various other duties as assigned including assisting with the training of new employees.
**Qualifications**
⁃ Education: High school diploma or equivalent
⁃ Experience: Some experience in general warehouse environment preferred
⁃ Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate Basic Microsoft Windows Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
⁃ Forktruck certification mandatory after 90 days
⁃ Effective communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of English, reading and writing.
⁃ Must obtain a Powered Material Handling Equipment (PMHE) License
⁃ Mechanical Aptitude
⁃ Medium physical effort required
⁃ Lifting 50 lbs. maximum and frequently lifting and carry up to 35 lbs.
⁃ Ability to stand for several hours daily.

Position Summary
The Complaint Handling Specialist ensures prompt resolution of complaints, compliance with regulations, and quality improvement, supporting Empower Pharmacy's mission to deliver affordable, innovative medications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages customer complaints, product quality investigations, and Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reporting, ensuring data is tracked, trended, and resolved promptly.
- Oversees and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while ensuring all documentation complies with state and federal requirements, including Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reporting and follow-up.
- Tracks and integrates complaint trends into quality reviews such as Biannual Product Reviews and non-compliance incidents to drive continuous improvement.
- Assists with clinical and product inquiries, promptly identifying and resolving quality issues while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams on projects and duties to support product quality and process improvement initiatives.
Knowledge and Skills
- Requires knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, United States Pharmacopeia (USP), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), with strong technical writing and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office is essential; experience in 503A or 503B facilities is a plus.

Your responsibilities as a Material Handling Operator will include:
- Retrieving and transporting products to assigned locations.
- Identifying products for selection, sorting, and placement.
- Adhering to aisle specifications for proper sorting and placement of items.
- Documenting assigned products for each shift in the system.
- Maintaining a safe working environment to protect yourself, fellow team members, and equipment.
- Performing other tasks as assigned.
What we expect from you:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience operating a forklift and using RF Utility is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English at a level necessary for performing job tasks safely and efficiently, including understanding work instructions and safety protocols.

The Material Handling Operator utilizes state-of-the-art, computer-equipped forklifts to maneuver materials throughout the distribution center, ensuring products are placed accurately in designated areas. You will occasionally operate at heights of 20 feet or more.
