**The Opportunity:**
CACI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hardware Asset Management SME   supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. The Asset SME will be responsible for providing deep subject matter expertise in all aspects of hardware asset management, including inventory control, logistics, and lifecycle management. This role leads a team of Business Analysts and Developers in the design, development, and implementation of an effective and efficient hardware asset management capability, with a strong emphasis on leveraging ServiceNow. The SME will work closely with the Hardware Service Delivery Manager and Business Process Consultant, as well as other stakeholders across the organization, to ensure hardware asset capability is in compliance with government policies, industry best practices, and hardware requirements. This role operates within an Agile environment, emphasizing iterative development, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as the primary subject matter expert on all aspects of hardware asset management, providing guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders.
+ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of hardware asset lifecycle processes, from acquisition and deployment to maintenance, retirement, and disposal.
+ Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to hardware asset management.
+ Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts and Developers, providing guidance and support in the design, development, and implementation of asset management solutions within ServiceNow.
+ Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance to ensure project goals are met.
+ Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
+ Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
+ Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
+ Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of hardware asset management solutions within _ServiceNow_  using Agile methodologies.
+ Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they are translated into effective ServiceNow configurations.
+ Work with Developers to customize ServiceNow applications and integrations to meet specific business needs.
+ Oversee the testing and deployment of new ServiceNow asset management solutions and updates.
+ Ensure data integrity and accuracy within ServiceNow's CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and related modules.
+ Collaborate with the Hardware Service Delivery Manager to ensure alignment between asset management processes and service delivery operations.
+ Work with the Business Process Consultant to analyze existing hardware asset management processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimized workflows within ServiceNow.
+ Identify and implement opportunities to improve hardware asset management processes and workflows within the ServiceNow platform.
+ Develop and maintain documentation for asset management processes and procedures.
+ Conduct regular audits of hardware asset data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
+ Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of asset management programs.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including IT, Procurement, as well as the Hardware Service Delivery Manager and Business Process Consultant.
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on asset management initiatives and address any concerns.
+ Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement asset management policies and procedures.
**Qualifications:**
_Required:_
+ 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
+ 7 + years of experience in hardware asset management.
+ Proven experience leading and managing a team.
+ Extensive experience with ServiceNow, including configuration, customization, and integration, within an Agile development environment.
+ Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
+ Experience with data analysis and reporting.
+ Experience working in an Agile development environment using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
+ Deep subject matter expertise in hardware asset management.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Digital Lifecycle Management (DLM) Consultant with proven expertise in ServiceNow and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) to lead end-to-end design, implementation, and rollout of DLM processes aligned with industry best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong stakeholder engagement capabilities and a successful track record of managing complex transformation initiatives across large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, implementation, and rollout of Digital Lifecycle Management (DLM) solutions, ensuring alignment with ITIL and industry best practices.
  • Define and implement scalable Hardware Asset Management (HAM) processes using ServiceNow HAM Pro or similar modules.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in IT Asset Management or ITSM/ITOM consulting, with a strong focus on Digital Lifecycle Management .
  • Deep hands-on experience with ServiceNow , particularly Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multiple DLM transformation projects across global organizations.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL v4 , asset lifecycle principles, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage and engage with senior business and IT stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
  • Experience in data migration , process automation , and workflow orchestration within the ServiceNow platform.
Preferred Qualifications:
