The Systems Integration and Engineering (SIE) organization is implementing a major initiative to significantly improve our capabilities and performance. A key part of this is a focus on improving System Design Integration. To drive this effort, we are creating several new technical leadership positions within the Design Integration department.
The Hardware/Software (HW/SW) Systems Integration Lead will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide direct technical assistance to programs through activities such as pursuit/proposal support, independent reviews, and anomaly investigation teams.
- Be an active participant in Systems Engineering improvement initiatives. Improve and maintain formal command media and informal HW/SW integration guidance as well as templates/tools provided to programs.
- Establish and maintain a talent pipeline for HW/SW integration.
- Improve HW/SW integration training material and serve as lead instructor for training classes
- Assist department manager in identification and allocation of HW/SW integration resources to programs
- Support major program reviews including Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM), Proposal Technical Adequacy Reviews (PTAR), System Requirements Review (SRR), Design Reviews (PDR, CDR) and Flight Test Readiness Reviews (DTRR, XRR, MRR)
- Support the development and verification of system requirements and document & manage accordingly.
- Offer guidance to Systems Engineering teams, covering the entire Systems Engineering lifecycle, from architecture and requirements development, system integration, verification and validation, all the way through mission operations.

**Basic Qualifications:**
- Bachelors or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with this assignment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering , Computer Science , or a related field.
- DoD Secret Clearence
- Strong understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts and applications.
- Proven experience with Embedded Linux development.
- Proficiency in C , Python , and Bash scripting .
- Exposure to FPGA development , including VHDL and the Xilinx toolchain .
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Experience with electronic circuit design and hands-on debugging.
- Proficiency with Altium Designer for PCB layout and schematic design.
- Familiarity with serial communication protocols : Async, I2C, and SPI.
- Familiarity with RF bands and RF Protocols : ISM Bands, Frequency Hopping techniques
- Knowledge of RF Lab Equipment operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and firmware for electronic warfare test systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware components.
- Develop scripts and tools using C, Python, and Bash to support automation and testing.
- Leverage Embedded Linux systems for real-time applications.
- Analyze and implement Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms for mission-critical performance.
- Participate in system debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization during development.
