SAIC has new opportunities to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Tech Center in Atlantic City, NJ! These positions are 100% onsite and may require some travel to other airports within the United States.
**Job Responsibilities may include:**
+ Gather, normalize, and integrate data from multiple sources including TFDM, ERAM, STARS, SWIM, TBFM, and surface surveillance systems (e.g., ASDE-X, ASSC).
+ Develop and maintain data pipelines to support ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
+ ·Analyze aircraft surface movement data, runway utilization, pushback times, taxi-out delays, and metering effectiveness to evaluate TFDM system impact.
+ Support FAA stakeholders with analysis of throughput, delay reduction, queue management, and overall efficiency improvements.
+ Analyze data from test events including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Operational Readiness Demonstrations (ORD).
+ Provide quantitative assessments and visualizations to validate TFDM performance against baseline metrics and operational expectations.
+ Design and maintain dashboards and visual reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Tailor dashboards to support roles such as system engineers, site implementation leads, and FAA program managers.
+ Identify trends, anomalies, and outliers in operational data; perform root cause analysis to uncover system issues or inefficiencies.
+ Generate actionable insights to inform system enhancements, procedural changes, or additional training needs.
+ Validate the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of TFDM-related datasets, identifying and resolving data integrity issues.
+ Collaborate with systems engineers and developers to ensure data logging and telemetry meet analysis requirements.
+ Develop and deliver recurring and ad-hoc reports to TFDM program leadership, FAA stakeholders (e.g., AJM, AJT, AJW), airport authorities, and industry partners.
+ ·Support responses to data-related inquiries from internal FAA teams and external evaluators.
+ Contribute to the development of models that support predictive surface metering, queue estimation, and traffic flow optimization.
+ Assist in evaluating model performance and recommending improvements based on historical data trends.
+ Work with cross-functional teams --including software engineers, integration specialists, and operational SMEs --to identify analysis needs and define data requirements.
+ Translate technical requirements into data products that support program goals and decision-making.
+ Ensure data handling complies with FAA data governance policies, privacy requirements, and cybersecurity standards.
+ Maintain proper documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and data sources to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education & Experience:**
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 9+ years of relevant engineering/aviation experience, preferably with FAA systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Remove network cables as part of datacenter decommissioning tasks
+ Run, label, and stage power and networking cables
+ Perform DBD (Device-Based Decommissioning) removal (no scanning involved)
+ Prepare, install, troubleshoot, replace, or decommission equipment under guidance
+ Perform startups and shutdowns for hardware per documentation and checklists
+ Conduct physical audits of datacenter assets
+ Monitor systems for equipment failure or performance errors
+ Respond to system alerts or program error messages and assist in issue resolution
+ Assist programmers and analysts in testing/debugging new programs
+ Operate spreadsheet software and other tools to manage data and generate reports
**Required Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
+ 0-2 years of experience in a similar technical role
+ Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
+ Ability to work flexible, non-standard hours including weekends/holidays
+ Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
+ Ability to work independently and within a team environment

About the Role

As a Hardware Maintenance Program Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the strategy for Caper Cart maintenance and repair operations. Youll lead the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of these initiatives, while driving the scale of our support operations to thousands of carts in the field ensuring long-term operational success and reliability.

About the Job

  • Drive the Caper Hardware Maintenance and Repair initiative for the carts in the market, integrating robust categorization of requirements with strategic evaluation of in-sourcing and outsourcing opportunities
  • Design and implement a closed-loop system to identify, prioritize, and address maintenance and repair needs within the retailer facilities
  • Manage field service operations, ensuring timely planning and coordination of tickets to minimize cart downtime and maximize resolution speed and quality
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, proactively addressing dependencies before maintenance activities are initiated
  • Develop and maintain the Maintenance and Repair Schedule, partnering closely with the Hardware Deployment team to ensure accountability and on-time execution
  • Assess ongoing initiatives and make recommendations for schedule and resource optimization across maintenance, deployment and retrofit workflows
  • Lead analytics on maintenance operations, capturing and analyzing trends related to repairs, manpower allocation, ground-time, and non-routine activities in the field to drive continuous improvement opportunities
  • Establish and uphold strong operational rigor through documentationcrafting detailed, scalable, and standardized procedures and playbooks for every aspect of the Maintenance and Repair program to drive consistency, efficiency, and ongoing capability building within the team

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategy and drive operational improvements
  • Exceptional written communication skills able to clearly articulate complex operational topics for diverse audiences, including technical teams, leadership, and frontline operators
  • Strong documentation capabilities skilled in independently drafting comprehensive strategy documents and process workflows from scratch, tailoring tone and structure based on the audience to drive alignment
  • Proficient in tools like Google Sheets and ticketing platforms such as Jira, Freshdesk, ServiceNow, or equivalents
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support on-site operational needs
