What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Contribute to future aspects of our GPU hardware and system architectures.

  • Design and implement hardware system and cluster architecture that run demanding hyperscale distributed workloads in a cloud native environment

  • Cross-disciplinary role driving Architecture/Hardware/Verification/Software/Application co-design collaboration and execution.

  • Design and deploy the system / cluster that strikes the right balance between requirements imposed by all these teams, while optimizing for time-to-market.

  • Review upstream product requirements, define downstream requirements, build specification documents, conduct technical reviews.

  • Build processes and methodologies that can improve efficiency and quality of result.

What We Need To See:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of work-related experience in hardware and system architecture

  • Familiar with data center power and cooling infrastructure, HW life cycle management and operations in data center environment

Job Summary
KBR is seeking a Hardware Systems Engineer that has experience working with Patriot Ground Support Equipment hardware and standards used by US Military Systems. Candidates must possess relevant engineering experience in development and fielding of Military Ground or Air Defense Systems. The Engineer in this role will be part of a team of engineers and analysts supporting the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office. The candidate will support projects from conceptualization to fielding, participate in high profile meetings, and brief technical results to United States Government (USG) stakeholder(s) and contractors.
The Systems Engineer provides technical and programmatic support to the Patriot Ground Support Equipment (PGSE) product office within IFMC. Primary duties include systems engineering oversight and analysis of PGSE technical data. Systems engineering assistance will include development and review of system requirements and test objectives, as well as validation and verification. Technical analysis duties will require the engineer to evaluate potential hardware solutions to meet system requirements and evaluate test results for objective accomplishment. The candidate will also need to learn and retain extensive knowledge on how the PGSE systems and subsystems function, operate, and interface with the warfighter.
Roles and Responsibilities
+ Perform technical engineering and problem solving with a focus on ground support equipment performance of hardware within a radar, command and control, power generation and support equipment.
+ Perform analysis applying appropriate scientific and engineering processes and modeling techniques to the life cycle development of ground support hardware.
+ Support planning and execution of system performance analysis, independent performance assessments, post-test analysis and simulation in support of Verification and Validation activities.
+ Maintain and improve large scale simulations to support multiple missions and integrate existing models from mission partners into simulations.
+ Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support during execution of analysis for Hardware In-the Loop (HWIL), Digital Modeling and Simulation (M&S), and analysis tasks.

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Hardware Infrastructure Systems Leader to oversee the delivery of system platforms supporting high-volume shipment of SiTime clocking solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate a robust technical foundation, extensive hands-on experience in both hardware and software engineering, and a record of effective leadership. This position demands a collaborative approach, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, as well as demonstrate excellence in people and project management. Strong technical acumen and a results-oriented mindset are essential for driving the successful execution of complex hardware system initiatives

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee system hardware development from conceptualization through prototyping, testing, validation, and transition to production
  • Lead system architecture decisions during early product feasibility phase, ensuring translation of silicon performance and cross-functional specifications into comprehensive system requirements
  • Prepare clear and thorough technical documentation detailing both architectural concepts and implementations
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent communication and alignment across hardware, software, and application divisions, ensuring all requirements are satisfied
  • Deliver robust and reliable hardware solutions that align with product requirements, quality benchmarks, as well as cost and manufacturability objectives
  • Establish and continuously refine infrastructure development processes and procedures
  • Drive research and development initiatives for the hardware technology roadmap by evaluating emerging technologies and components to address future product needs
  • Work closely with software teams to ensure seamless integration and dependable system performance
  • Manage key relationships with hardware vendors, suppliers, and partners
  • Lead technical discussions with vendors to select optimal components, ensuring they meet the required standards for performance, quality, cost, and availability
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to monitor progress and address issues in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance hardware systems
  • Communicate project status, strategy, and critical issues to project team and other stakeholders
Qualifications & Requirements (Education must be included):
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience in system hardware engineering, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in executing and managing high-impact hardware development projects.
  • Comprehensive expertise in hardware design, development, modeling, and hardware/software integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of board, package, and socket technologies, as well as manufacturing, fabrication, assembly processes, and proficiency in CAD/CAE tools.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven capability to perform effectively under pressure while meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to adopt a hands-on approach when necessary, engaging with technical details to resolve issues and guide the team.

As a Hardware Systems Architect at OnLogic, you steer the direction of OnLogic's technology and product offerings. You want to make an impact on a rapidly growing company and drive product and customer success. You work closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering as well as with customers and partners to identify the current and future pain points and to develop the differentiated solutions that will enable our customers.   • Research, define, introduce, and promote competitive and differentiated solutions that are consistent with new and existing market trends, company direction and core customer needs as well as revenue and profitability goals.
  • Work with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Partners to evaluate, develop, and launch new and unique products.
  • Develop and maintain high-level technology and product roadmap.
  • Ensure technology leadership for OnLogic's product lines in alignment to verticals specific products and strategies.
  • Define new technologies and use cases, applications, and markets for technologies.
  • Cooperate with Sales and respond to potential opportunities through direct customer requests or customer pain points, hurdles or challenges.
  • Work with customers on defining the best fit solution to accomplish the customer's end goals. This encompasses hardware and software architectures.
  • Identify, research, and propose potential technology and software partner candidates and accompanying business models.
  • Support and participate in technical escalations and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • You have a keen sense of business and are a strategic thinker.
  • You have a minimum of 10 years experience as a Systems or Solution Architect.
  • You have extensive technical background relating to computer hardware and software application integration.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related technical field.
  • You have industry experience relating to at least one or more of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, Industry 4.0, Security & Surveillance, Computer Vision, Edge Computing, etc.
