Amazon's ROC, Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transportation Specialist to assist in the resolution of stakeholder issues of daily freight movements flowing into and out of our North American fulfillment centers and our associated fulfillment network. Key job responsibilities
- Deliver great customer service to carrier and driver experience/solutions, in a contact center environment, through researching, problem-solving, setting appropriate expectations and working within the Amazon Transportation network
- Work in fast-paced environment, and adhere to schedules: start/stop, and breaks/lunches
- Support workload surges and/or weather-related operations as needed to include working significant overtime during designated high-volume peaks
- Use internal systems to gather data from multiple sources to support reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis (AAP, Reach, Decisiv, FMC & YMS)
- Work with cross-functional teams. Use analytical skills to drive data-driven decision, and effectively communicate insights to others across Transportation Operations Management (TOM), Amazon Freight Partners (AFP), and Fleet.
- Provide support to field teams in driver assignment, load acceptance and driver/equipment availability
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Are 18 years of age or older

Qualifications

  • Transporting Veterans to medical appointments.
  • Providing assistance to passengers to ensure safe boarding and disembarking of the vehicle.

    f. Coordinate and schedule post-officer physicals with healthcare provider's offices.

    g. Verify and submit billing information for health physicals to the Finance Department for payment.

Physical Demands:

Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a Transportation Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently operating assigned motor vehicles.

The Transportation Specialist will be required to:

  • Safely transport passengers and cargo to various destinations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on assigned vehicles.
  • Ensure that all vehicles are properly loaded and unloaded.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of passengers with mobility devices.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid driver's license.
  • At least 6 months of experience operating a motor vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
