The Deli Manager duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Assure and document temperature of hot and cold foods. The Manager must ensure the appropriate temperatures are maintained.
2. Monitor food items for expiration dates.
3. Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, including the deli cart, refrigerator, freezer, tables, chairs, counters, et al).
4. Maintain, document and assure equipment is in good working condition and report to the Food Service Department any problems.
5. Prepare the weekly food order for the Food Service Department to place and stock the deliveries. Keep perpetual inventory records of stock.
6. Supervise other Deli staff as directed.
7. Must have a positive attitude and Serve Safe Certified (or willing to complete certification).
8. Work with the State Veterans Home Business Office to ensure daily cash receipts are accurate.

Position Summary
