Primary Functions:

The Dean of Health, Science and General Education provides leadership and oversight for academic programs in these areas, ensuring quality, compliance and strategic alignment with the institution's mission. They manage faculty, develop curriculum, oversee budgets, and foster a positive learning environment.

The Dean of Health, Science and General Education serves as the Program Director for the Biology, General Studies, Management (Healthcare Management and Management) and Technology (Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Healthcare Informatics) degree programs. The Dean of Health, Science and General Education provides direct supervision for the Associate Dean of Allied Health.

The Dean of Health, Science and General Education is responsible for all aspects of the management of the academic programs within the scope of the position (as noted above), including program and curricula review, selection, supervision and evaluation of faculty within those programs, addressing faculty concerns relevant to the programs, supervising and participating in accreditation activities, collection and evaluation of student outcomes information, and budget preparation. Essential Functions:

1. Supervision and evaluation of the Associate Dean of Allied Health and other staff under the Dean of Health, Science and General Education authority.

2. In combination with Program Directors (where appropriate) and program faculty, has the primary responsibility to review, revise and update program curricula within the programs under her direct supervision to ensure currency, quality and rigor.

3. Within the division, manages student complaints, grievances, cases of plagiarism and other issues of academic integrity, etc. according to College guidelines.

4. Engages in the recruitment, supervision, evaluation and professional development of faculty within the scope of academic program oversight within the division.

5. Collaborates to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain students

6. Participates in recruiting new students, especially for the programs under their purview, and may be involved in outreach activities and the development of informational material.

7. Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to create strategies and tactics which are fiscally viable and which provide students greater access to the academic offerings of the college within the division.

8. In coordination with the Chief Academic Affairs Officer, works with internal and external stakeholders to develop collaborative partnerships which will expand the college's visibility as a provider of educational content and to enhance the success of academic programs within the division and the college as a whole.

9. Assists in college accreditation activities as assigned.

10. Develops and oversees the annual budget for the division programs and associated functions.

11. Manages the timely and accurate completion of special research projects in a variety of areas relevant to academic affairs.

12. Participates in grant activities where appropriate.

13. Composes and revises policies, procedures, guidelines and other documents that have as their initiating authority the Academic Affairs division.

14. Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Academic Affairs Officer.


Minimum Qualifications:

1. Doctoral degree from a regionally-accredited post-secondary institution.

2. Minimum of three years prior experience as an administrator in academic affairs (department chair, dean, etc.) at a post-secondary institution.

3. Evidence of increasing responsibility for operations of an academic affairs office.

4. Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with academic administration of programs in healthcare, business and/or technology.

2. Experience with budget development and fiscal management.

3. Experience with faculty and staff development.

4. Experience with recruitment and review of new faculty.

5. Experience with outcomes assessment theory and practice within a higher education setting.

6. Ability to research, manipulate, and use data and information to arrive at decisions.

7. Ability to think creatively to solve problems.

8. Knowledge of legal and regulatory issues as they pertain to higher education.

9. Three or more years of teaching experience in the post-secondary environment;

10. Experience with curriculum development, academic program development.

11. Experience with distance education.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate would be a member of the Neuro ICU team at University of Wisconsin Hospital. Clinical responsibilities include serving as the 24/7 onsite attending physician in the Neuro ICU during the assigned weeks. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

For appointment on the CHS Track: Duties will either be approximately 80% clinical, 10% research, and 10% teaching or approximately 80% clinical, 20% research, depending on the successful candidate.

Roles Available:
Line Runner
The Line Runner ensures the efficiency of the operation of a packaging or manufacturing line. The Line Runner is responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensures that the designated line is properly set-up and runs productively.
· Completes the appropriate paperwork accurately and on time.
· Runs the various line equipment.
· Checks products on the line for damages and inconsistencies.
· Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
· Responsible for adhering to all SOPs, cGMPs, and safety requirements and procedures.
· Performs all other duties as assigned.
Machine Operator
The Coating Operator, Blending Operator, Encapsulation Operator, Tablet Press Operator, or Compounder will be responsible for all activities related to their machine's role in producing our products, as per formula instructions. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate Encapsulation, Blending, Compression, Tablet Press, or similar machinery
- Match all labels with batch records
- Must be able to document process information as per SOP
- Load and unload machinery
- Monitor machine operation periodically and report any abnormal conditions
All roles above have these requirements:
· High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred.
· Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.
· Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).

The **Community Engagement Coordinator** within the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai will conduct clerical, administrative and research activities mainly taking place in community-based settings. Working closely with the Program Manager, the Coordinator will support ongoing mental health initiatives and research programs, primarily the HOPE Center/ISSM Partnership and the Brothers=Connect and Haven=C.onnect initiatives
This position aims to 1) enhance outreach, education, and engagement in mental health services and 2) foster and expand community partnerships to support mental health youth and adult programs and training.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community-driven. Experience conducting human subjects research is preferred, but not required. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, demonstrated experience with youth, group facilitation, and passion for supporting mental health and be comfortable discussing mental health topics including suicide. They must have a solid understanding of the social, economic, and political factors impacting historically marginalized groups.

+ Develop communication tools for informing, churches, Community-Based Organization (CBO) leadership, and other community members locally and across New York State about new training opportunities.
+ Collect, maintain, and organize program information using electronic databases like REDCap
+ Correspond with study participants by telephone to schedule appointments and reminder calls for follow-up data collection

The HOPE Center is a community-based mental health center affiliated with the First Corinthian Baptist Church (8,000 members) in Central Harlem. The Center provides sessions of evidence-based psychotherapy including cognitive-behavioral therapy and interpersonal psychotherapy in an effort to directly impact vast mental health and substance use disorder needs and promote health and wellness **free of charge** to individuals, couples, and families in Harlem.
**About Brothers=Connect**
Brothers=Connect project is an upstream suicide prevention program for Black male teens ages 13-19 in Youth Basketball Leagues (i.e., YMCA), Boys & Girls Clubs, and other community-based organizations across New York City. The program is in response to the startling rise in suicidal behavior among Black male teenagers in New York State.

HAVEN=Connect is an upstream suicide prevention program in predominantly Black churches in New York state. Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64526.72 - $67500 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need.
