  • Ongoing Consulting Service—Advise on general health and welfare plan compliance; assist clients with escalated claim, billing, and eligibility issues; coordinate with proprietary database for Aon compliance requirements; review summary plan descriptions; coordinate with client, vendors, and Aon communications practice on employee communications, and oversee activities on the client service calendar; coordinate Form 5500 filings; prepare and deliver benchmarking data; review plan utilization and identify trends; facilitate implementation meetings; prepare meeting notes and action items; answer day-to-day client questions; participate on client status calls and in meetings.

  • Participate and/or lead, as needed, on task forces and special project teams.

What the day will look like

As an Assistant Vice President, you are the Lead Consultant on the Health Solutions client team supporting the Account Executive and responsible for timely, accurate, and quality service of all client deliverables. In this position you will act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients and oversee the client team and project management. The Health Solutions Assistant Vice President will collaborate with the client Account Executive to facilitate execution of overall strategy plus special projects as needed. This position includes delegation of assignments to team members and peer review of their work, but also involves being actively involved in performing analysis, drafting client presentations, participating in client meetings, and identifying client needs for other services. Additionally, the Assistant Vice President will:

  • Lead integrated efforts of internal Aon teams such as actuarial, audit, legal, and specialized broking teams
  • Foster the overall relationship with the client's vendor partners
  • Maintain an understanding of healthcare market trends and innovation
  • Leverage the right resources to resolve client issues
  • Mentor, coach, and guide junior staff

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $111,600 - $186,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Washington, DC. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

**_Qualifications_**
+ 8-12 years of experience, preferred
+ Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

+ Demonstrates knowledge of capital planning
+ Ability to influence without authority

**_Job Summary_**
The Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions Program Manager, NPHS PM, is responsible for managing the execution of inter-connected projects that are managed as a program. The NPHS PM focuses on program strategy, project delegation and implementation. They work within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies. The NPHS PM's programs are tied to critical organizational goals.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Achieves on time, on budget delivery of strategic, capital programs with aggressive timelines
+ Connects program objectives to broader organizational goals. Connects short-term demands to long-term implications, in alignment with the supporting business case
+ Applies knowledge of the project management initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing processes
+ Effectively documents scope, estimated cost, and creates a detailed schedule for large, complex, cross-functional projects and programs
+ Organizes project teams, establishes project schedules and individual responsibilities, and determines resource requirements
+ Ensures effective, nimble controls are in place to manage risks, issues, changes, decisions, cost, resources, and schedule
+ Creatively solves problems with stakeholders when challenges occur
+ Ensures team is successful by addressing workload priorities, removing obstacles, facilitating issue resolution. Negotiates with stakeholders to obtain the resources necessary for successful execution
+ Monitors performance and influences appropriate scope, schedule, cost or resource adjustments
+ Facilitates prioritization in order to minimize impact of high-demand resources having competing deadlines
