Position Summary:
As our Backend Engineer with the focus on Data at Heal Security, will contribute to planning, designing, developing, and maintaining customer-facing solutions. As a key member of our highly collaborative Product Development team, you will have the opportunity to build a secure backend environment with a high-performance, API-driven, customer-facing portal solution. Work hands-on building our world-class healthcare cybersecurity product with our secure infrastructure. Leveraging GCP & GKE, Kubernetes, and various scalable GCP services such as PubSub and Firestore, you will support and be able to contribute to the deployment and development of projects written in TypeScript, Python, and Clojure. Strong product development is a requirement. Our primary warehouse is built on a graph database, with various services contributing to the data visible to the user – search, analytics, and so on.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable web applications across the server-side stack.

Expertise in building infrastructure with IaC tools such as Terraform.
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficient in building REST or GraphQL APIs with automated unit testing.
Familiarity with message brokers (e.g. GCP Pub/Sub, Apache Kafka) and data processing frameworks like Apache Beam.
Experience with microservices architecture and cloud computing.
