DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
  1. Installs, maintains, and repairs AC and DC electrical wiring systems, power sources, laboratory equipment, and other components such as conduit, electrical panels, signal and alarm systems, lighting, receptacles, relays and controls, motors, generators, rectifiers, transformers, electric meters, etc. May replace interior and exterior lamps as necessary at varying heights.
  2. Performs installation, maintenance, and repair on overhead and underground electrical circuits and components. May perform oiling, cleaning, brush replacement, and other repair of equipment as required. May install, maintain, and repair circuits and equipment involving electronic components. Trouble shoot equipment, utilizing testing devices.
  3. Clean, maintain, safely operate and properly store all tools and equipment.
  4. May perform or assist in performance of any of the following: preparation of cost estimates, preparation of material orders, maintenance of records, and preparation of reports.
  5. Observe and enforce all safety requirements related to equipment operation.
  6. Due to necessary fluctuations of workloads in the skill area, an incumbent in this class may be required, on an occasional basis and according to need, to perform duties outside his/her trade area. Normal safety requirements, scheduling and the most efficient use of staff and equipment are taken into consideration in such assignments.
  7. Perform related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project is estimated to be for 12 months to start and is likely to extend

**This position is ONSITE in Columbia, SC

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

The State of SC is undertaking a multi-year Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) Modernization effort to replace the State’s aging MMIS and related applications with more modern capabilities along with corresponding business operations services.

The MES Modernization effort will be incremental and modular in nature with a focus on configurable and scalable integrations, which allow for more flexibility and reduces time and cost necessary to respond to federal and state enhancements.

The Delivery of Automated Systems for Healthcare (DASH) Program is the project management program that will be managing the MES Modernization.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enterprise Project Manager – Consultant will manage the daily activities of the Medicaid Cloud-Based Systems program. This position will report to the Director of the DASH Program. The duties will include:

  • Enforcing SDLC development best practices following enterprise policies, tools and processes
  • Providing day-to-day direction and guidance to the development team working on the support and improvement of multiple applications on a variety of technologies
  • Planning and directing budgets, goals, and business objectives
  • Maintaining enterprise-wide system tools that ensure scalability
  • Ensuring established operating policies are followed
  • Enforcing enterprise-wide MCBS program management practices, governance standards, processes and metrics
  • Ensuring projects/programs are defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner
  • Incorporating effective change and risk management controls
  • Partnering with IT and business leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure projects meet strategic objectives
  • Directing project/program managers with business case development
  • Ensuring projects within MCBS portfolios/programs are delivered on time, within budget and to an agreed quality level


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • At least ten years of experience in IT Management
  • At least five years of experience in management of large-scale business and technical projects
  • Experience managing cross functional teams across multiple projects
  • Familiar with a variety of the IT Management concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in project/program management, portfolio management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with standard data structures, electronic data interchange, processes and related file formats
  • Interest, skill and ability to innovate including business processes, methods/procedures, and technology
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate, in both oral and written, with all levels of the Agency from frontline workers to Executive Staff as well as the Contractor(s)
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment with a diverse group of teammates
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail

We're seeking an analyst with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to join our Information Management and Population Health team. This role is responsible for analyzing, preparing, and processing data sets to generate insights and support analytical exploration. The analyst will leverage the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau), and healthcare data sources to deliver meaningful analysis and reporting for both internal and external clients.
The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare or population health analytics, familiarity with data warehousing concepts, and proficiency in SQL. A background in validating data quality, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and consulting with business stakeholders is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical details into clear, actionable business insights are also critical.
This position offers exposure to diverse healthcare data, the chance to collaborate across business units, and the opportunity to demonstrate strong analytical and critical-thinking skills while driving data-informed decision-making.
**Responsibilities**
+ Access and compile data sets from the EDW and other sources for exploratory and predefined analyses.
+ Audit data sets for completeness, validity, and accuracy; address discrepancies and ensure data health.
+ Support evaluation of data for analytical potential, limitations, and business impacts.
+ Transform raw data into usable formats tailored to business or team-specific needs.
+ Perform basic statistical testing and exploratory analysis.
+ Develop clear and effective data visualizations and reporting outputs.
+ Consult with stakeholders regarding data availability, quality, and analytical outcomes.
+ Provide end-user support and training for reporting and BI solutions.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues with EDW data sets, workflows, and reporting solutions.
+ Document processes, maintain updated reference materials, and communicate changes proactively.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or a related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
+ Coursework or work experience in SQL programming and/or report building.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ High attention to detail and data accuracy.
+ Ability to engage with business owners to capture functional requirements.
+ Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Columbia, MO.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Background in healthcare, sciences, or information systems.
+ Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL concepts.
+ Familiarity with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, SAP Business Objects, or Tableau.
+ Basic knowledge of CCL (Cerner Command Language).

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

Complete proper documentation (State Ambulance report, billing sheets, data entry form, etc.) with patient information and treatment. Follow appropriate procedure or chain of command when interacting with other personnel or reporting incidents or problems at the scene of the medical emergency or injury.

May act as a charge paramedic. Duties include: give reports to the next shift, assign tasks to other shift staff, enforce policies, and act as a resource person to other staff.

Perform medical procedures when necessary and as appropriate.

Perform primary and secondary physical assessments and obtain a medical history in order to judge the level of illness or injury. Monitor and appropriately interpret patient vital signs under stressful conditions (environment, weather, terrain) in order to provide appropriate medical intervention.

Safely operate an emergency response vehicle, emergency communication equipment, and follow the incident chain of command.

Teach or assist in in-service and public education programs to hospital and lay personnel.

Triage and treat victims in order to perform assigned duties in a disaster.

Examines, screens, treats, and coordinates health services for patients.

Conducts post-hospital release follow-up care.

Performs point-of-care testing and result reporting.

Conducts patient education, including prevention/treatment specific to chronic diseases.

Follow established procedures in treating radiation exposure victims.

May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Paramedic (EMT-P) licensure by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).

Chauffeur driver license; class E or higher for Missouri residents.

Three (3) years of paramedic experience.

Community Paramedic (EMT-CP) licensure by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) within one (1) year as a condition of continued employment in this job classification.

Community Paramedic (CP-C) by the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC) within two (2) years as a condition of continued employment in this job classification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
