POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, the Hospital Material Handler performs a variety of duties related to the organization, storage and movement of product and materials within a warehouse, distribution or storage center. They also perform limited aspects of technical supply management related to depot, local or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems, supply actions or equipment management. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. * Performs activities involved in transferring from Receiving and Warehouse staging areas to proper storage within the facility or warehouse.
2. * Maintain supplies, stock, equipment and fleet to ensure proper operation and safe condition.
3.* Prepare records and reports as needed using appropriate forms or spreadsheet software.
4.* Investigate discrepancies and report them to management, recommending improvements to resolve issues.
5.* Maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and customers.
6. * Safe and proper use of products, equipment and fleet to meet quality and safety standards.
7. * Performs aspects of technical supply management work including but not limited to inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization related to depot, local or other supply activities.
8. * Analyze, define or recognize the complexity of problems, collect necessary data to establish facts, and take recommended action based on established guidelines.
9. * Safely operate a hand-truck.
10. * Transports and delivers a variety of supplies and equipment to worksite.
11. *Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•At least one year of related work experience;
•Working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines;
•Ability to maintain a safe driving record;
•Ability to work safely and properly use tools and equipment;
•An understanding of facilities maintenance operational guidelines related to supplies;
•Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines;
•Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests from team, customers and others;
•Effective written communication skills using appropriate business English;
•Human relations skills to maintain effective working relationships with team;
•Effective customer service skills:
•Intermediate computer literacy including knowledge of spreadsheet, and database software.
•Basic mathematical ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
•Demonstrated customer service, problem solving and common-sense skills.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED
CERTIFICATES REQUIRED:
The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:
Valid Driver's License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:
•Maneuvering in and around the warehouse
•Bending and stooping
•Lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 35 pounds
•Pulling or pushing up to 75 pounds
•May require using a hand-truck
•Climbing on and off material handling equipment
•Use of mobile device and tablet
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a commissary, warehouse, or distribution environment with forklifts, material handling and production equipment. May be exposed to noise from equipment and depending on external weather conditions exposure to heat, cold, wind, and rain.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the ability to have and maintain sufficient strength, agility and endurance to perform during stressful (physical, mental, and emotional) situations encountered on the job without compromising the employee's health and well-being or that of their coworkers or inmates.

We specialize in healthcare supply chain and courier solutions , supporting hospitals, medical foundations, pharmacies, and laboratories. Our team ensures that essential medical supplies and equipment are delivered, stocked, and ready when needed , directly impacting patient care.
We are hiring Warehouse & Inventory Technicians to assist with receiving, stocking, and distributing critical medical supplies. If you have warehouse, logistics, or inventory control experience , this role is a great opportunity to apply your skills in a stable and rewarding field.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm*
What Youll Do
- Receive and verify shipments , ensuring inventory accuracy
- Stock and organize medical supplies in storage areas and hospital units
- Monitor product levels , rotate stock, and track expiration dates
- Process returns, manage backorders, and assist with cycle counts
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace , following supply chain procedures
- Collaborate with hospital staff, vendors, and logistics teams to meet supply needs
What Were Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Hospital environment experience, 1+ year in warehouse, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain (preferred)
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work with inventory systems, and basic computer proficiency
