Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
The Psychiatrist will perform psychiatric assessments, therapy, consultation, and education for a broad range of clients. They are responsible for diagnosing, ordering, and delivering therapeutic treatments to clients. The Psychiatrist will provide client-centered and trauma-informed services to clients with severe mental illnesses, co-occurring substance abuse/addiction disorders, and medical comorbidities utilizing a harm reduction approach.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and provide psychopharmacological and other psychiatric treatments for assigned caseload of clients within scope of practice and specialty
- Provide ongoing consultation and participate in weekly team meetings for assigned ACT teams
- Order and interpret appropriate consultations, diagnostic testing, and laboratory results
- Provide and refer wellness initiatives and health promotion services as indicated and available
- Advise and inform clients, employee, or other appropriate people of client's condition and treatment plan.
- Participate in the educational experience of employees, students, or trainees as directed. Educate employees to support client treatment plans.
- Actively participate in morning huddles and other meetings as assigned
- Adopt an integrated healthcare approach in interactions with clients and colleagues
- Provide in-person and tele-health psychiatric services.
- Perform other related duties and/or projects as assigned
- M.D./D.O. degree from an ACGME or AOA accredited medical college required.
- Board Certification and/or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry or any subspecialty.
- Unrestricted license as a Physician in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum two years' experience working with people with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses (residency or fellowship activities may count towards this time).
- Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and/or Addiction Psychiatry preferred.
- Previous experience working with community mental health populations preferred.

Plans and directs all onsite activities at client Hospital location in relation to the storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous and Regulated Medical wastes and other related services following federal, state & local regulations. Manages and plans activities of onsite personnel. Serves as liaison between client and vendors in relation to service issues and contract management. Maintains pre-established standards for safety and environmental issues.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
+ Coordinate logistics for transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from client site including profiling, scheduling, and manifesting.
+ Consult with Hospital client to identify, design and implement cost saving opportunities and proposals.
+ Ensure compliance with client and government regulations by performing necessary inspections and reporting. Resolve all issues in a timely manner.
+ Administer client and vendor financial obligations including invoicing, reporting and contracts.
+ Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety, environmental, federal, state and local regulations.
+ May occasionally be required to perform labor-intensive activities (e.g., drum collection and bulking).
**Supervisory Responsibilities**
The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of supervisory employees. This includes:

A. Education and Experience

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

+ Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required by certain customer-contract requirements. Such testing may include urinalysis, oral swab, drug hair follicle testing and/or alcohol testing.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Works with hiring manager to document requirements of job openings as required opening requisitions. Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions. Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers. Surfaces candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Pre-screens resumes and evaluates effectiveness of electronic candidate evaluation tools. Documents candidate evaluation and interview process.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Effectively partner with hiring manager to better understand business needs and assess position goals and requirements.
+ Use various cost effective sourcing strategies, such as internet job boards, networking, resume mining, social networking, cold calling, college/university recruiting and job fairs to attract a diverse pipeline of candidates.
+ Prescreen all applicable candidates, then recommend candidates to hiring manager based on detailed requirements of position and competencies; provide manager with reasoning for advancing candidate.
+ Establish credibility and remain engaged with hiring manager and senior management to stay abreast of hiring process.
+ Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules, arranging travel, lodging meals, and escorting applicant to interviews.
+ Ensure recruitment activity is updated in an accurate, compliant and timely manner within the applicant tracking system.
+ Create offers, review and participate in negotiation and re-negotiation of salaries in coordination with offer.
+ Responsible for all onboarding activities to include: references, new hire paperwork, backgrounds check, I9, payroll forms and drug test.
+ Track, report and support future staffing initiatives.
+ Serve as role model/mentor to other staff members.
+ Proactively work with hiring manager and human resources business partner regarding future organizational structure.
+ Systematic and proactive approach with hiring managers across all business lines regarding recruitment cost controls.
+ Proactive partnership with HR business partners when an employee or hiring manager issue is identified.
+ Continued recommendation for improving full life cycle recruiting strategies.
+ Lead and collaborate on projects/reports related to ongoing corporate recruitment initiatives as required.
+ May provide assistance to junior level staff with more complex tasks that require a higher level of understanding of functions.
+ May escalate issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary.
+ Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
+ Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor.
+ Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree desirable
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
+ 5 - 8 years' related experience; or a Master's degree with 3 years' experience; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent directly related work experience.
+ SHRM Certification (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP) is desirable, or a plus.
+ Recruitment experience with demonstrated clinical, healthcare exposure.
+ Ability to multi-task in fast paced changing environment.
+ Skilled at planning and prioritizing work activities; able to easily adapt as goals, priorities, and role responsibilities may change.
+ Proficiency in using IT staffing tools (i.e. ATS, internet job boards, networking and social media).
+ Demonstrated experience working with all levels of executives and management.
+ Must have strong interviewing and closing skills.
+ Self-motivated with ability to operate independently, work proactively, and achieve optimal results.
+ Ability to work in independently and prioritize heavy work load in fast paced environment.
+ Proven track record of establishing innovative recruiting initiatives.
+ Solid presentation skills to HR business partners and hiring managers regarding identified and needed recruitment strategies.

The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate's work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
Annual Rate: $85,000- $120,000 For Chicago, IL location.
