We are hiring a Healthcare Specialist for our growing team!  The Healthcare Specialist will primarily be responsible for client care, transport, client activities, working with medical personnel and client orientation with admissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take vitals on clients daily
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with company, state, federal and HIPPA rules and regulations
  • Charting for insurance purposes
  • Supervise residents for extended time periods
  • Monitor resident's activities, groups, chore lists, weekly phone calls, etc.
  • Maintain a safe environment  
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude toward residents, staff, and volunteers
  • Handle crisis situations in a calm supportive manner
  • Transport clients to various appointments
  • Complete drug screening
  • Acts as a liaison to all areas of persons served/client care; medical staff, admission staff, nursing staff and clinical staff.
  • Directly assists and supports medical, admission, nursing and clinical staff ensuring a seamless transition for persons served/clients to and from detox.
  • Work with the Nurse Practitioner to ensure the health and safety of the residents.
  • Administering Medication to clients as directed
  • Performs follow-ups to persons served/client referral sources as directed by the supervisor.
  • Demonstrates punctuality, organization, and proficiency in all areas of scheduling, filing, meetings, presentation and persons served/client relations.
  • Orientate the persons served/client on admission.
  • Ensures persons served/client confidentiality in compliance with 42CFR, Part 2.

Key Experience and Education Needed:

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Valid driver's license

Other Qualifications to be Considered:

  • Availability to work some evening, overnight, and/or weekend shifts
  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to complete and submit reports
  • Knowledge of addictions and mental health complications.
  • Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program.

  • Knowledge of alcohol and other drugs that includes: Alcohol and addictive drugs and their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual impact on the individual.  Alcohol and addictive drugs and their impact on the family.
  • Ability to determine if a medical emergency exists and to take appropriate action, when necessary.
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose.
  • Knowledge of the stages of alcohol and other drug withdrawals and ability to take appropriate action at each stage.
  • Demonstrates initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership of work to meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals in both written and verbal formats.

This person's primary duty will be to work with our consultants and healthcare analytics team by researching healthcare analytics inquiries, onboarding new data sources and supporting daily operations of the MedInsight business intelligence solution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Write complex SQL queries to support analytics needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and support processes for data feasibility tests, data quality checks, data validations, and sense-checking of results.

Compensation

The overall salary range for this role is $54,900 - $02,120. For candidates residing in:

  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is 60,390 - 93,610.
  • New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is 65,880 - 102,120.
  • All other locations the salary range is 54,900 - 85,100.

A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.

**Qualifications**

+ Track record of success in managing and growing client relationships
+ Deep understanding and expert knowledge in all aspects of employee benefit plan design, underwriting and funding concepts
+ Proven ability to lead data analytic projects
+ Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in health and welfare plan strategy and leading the development of new intellectual capital
+ Ability to leverage judgement and past experiences to predict which methods will work
+ Multiple years of experience across one or multiple client segments
+ An executive presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills
+ Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization
+ Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
+ State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining

**Compensation**
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $140,000.00 to $200,000.00 USD per year.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.

We are searching for a healthcare economics consultant to join our experienced team. This creative role offers an excellent opportunity to directly impact an innovative function and secure your future with an industry leader This position will provide analytic support and consultation to local market health plans related to the modeling, analysis, and administration of healthcare expenditures and revenues. You will investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses of utilization and health care costs data. The individual will interpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches for its consolidation and presentation to senior leaders. Your analyses will be used to create viable, real-world solutions in a complex health care landscape.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Interpret and analyze claims, premium, capitation and membership data in support of utilization analyses
+ Lead projects to completion by contributing to database creation, statistical modeling and financial reports
+ Create and update automated processes
+ Analyze reporting tools utilized by the internal customer groups
+ Research & investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses of utilization & healthcare costs data
+ Quickly understand and run with vague ad hoc analytical requests from internal organizational leaders and deliver the information in a concise, meaningful way
+ Identifies potential areas for medical cost improvements and alternative pricing strategies in collaboration with the leadership team, key functional (clinical, network, actuarial and payment integrity) leaders and local Plan leaders
+ Provides data in support of actuarial, financial, utilization and clinical analyses
+ Communicate with impact on statistical findings and conclusions
+ Develops innovative approaches
+ Support for CMO reporting needs for response to CEO, CFO, and State stakeholders including but not limited to monthly trend reporting and analysis, QBR, and ad hoc reporting to respond to stakeholder requests.
+ Provide support for Healthcare Quality and Affordability initiatives to reduce trends by participation in implementation projects, workgroups, and audits.
+ Create and maintain HP team specific operational reporting and data sharepoints
+ Support HP Clinical Operations through collaboration with Network, Quality, and Clinical partners across thecontinuum to improve population management and member outcomes

**Required Qualifications:**
+ 3+ years of work experience in a corporate setting

+ Intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.
+ Proven effective verbal and written communication skills
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with a Managed Care Organization and/or working with Medicaid population
+ Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment.
