Responsibilities
- Track project progress with electronic project control and scheduling systems
- Organize, supervise and coordinate large-scale projects involving construction management and coordination of mechanical equipment
- Develop and implement construction plans including confirming progress, reviewing issues and actions, and ensuring quality and safety
- Supervising multiple contractors and trades
- Client engagement, project management and oversight of project business functions such as productivity and billing
- Interface with senior management personnel within the client organization
- Prepare RFPs for 3rd Party Consultants
- Provide detailed management reporting to identify trends and areas for improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree, Engineering discipline. Preferably Electrical and possess a P.E. License
- Experience working in a hospital environment
- Preferably possess ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) certification
- Experience in capital project improvement and development program management with 7-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large healthcare programs
- Strong working knowledge of programming, design, pre-construction, contract management, change management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, schedule and budget oversight, safety planning and oversight, quality assurance, risk management team building, and client-facing relationship building
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Chair, organize and conduct high level meetings for users and design and construction teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, and Microsoft Project), and some level of experience using industry Project Management Control Systems (PMCS), preferably Procore or Unifier

**Pay Range:**
- Locations in CO, HI, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 97,100.00 - Max Salary $140,800.00

**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Successful history of collaboration and teaming with electrical contractors on Design-Build projects.
- Experience in the construction industry and/or in-depth knowledge of construction processes.
- Understands and implements project management principles.
- Ability to manage clients, projects, fees, and teams to achieve budget, schedule, and deliverable objectives.
- Ability to integrate design elements with other disciplines to deliver a coordinated design.
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of power distribution systems, lighting systems, and low voltage systems for the built environment.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare teams in California including owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and facility managers operating within these markets.
- Experience with HCAI/OSHPD healthcare design is a plus but not required.
- Ability to apply sustainable design principles within projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively support technical project consultation with key clients and stakeholders.
- Functional knowledge of recent versions of AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP and SKM Power Tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Travel is required to meet engagement/client requirements - may include regional, national, or international based on the contracted requirements.
- Stantec offers flexible work schedules, but Project Managers are expected to be in the office or on-site at least two days per week.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Minimum 5+ years related professional experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated skills.
- EIT Registration or Equivalent is required
- PE Registration is preferred
- LEED AP Credential is preferred
- Division of the State Architect (DSA) experience is preferred

**Pay Range:**
- Locations in CO, HI, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 97,100.00 - Max Salary $140,800.00
- Locations in WA, DC & Various CA areas - Min Salary 104,200.00 - Max Salary 151,000.00
**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
