communicates effectively with co-workers, patients, family, and visitors.
Provides a safe work environment for the patient and performs all functions as delegated by the staff Registered Nurse, and/or via written protocol, as approved by the Medical Director or Staff MD.
**Education**
Required - Graduate from accredited paramedic program with a license to practice in the State of Louisiana
**Work Experience**
Required - 4 years current paramedic field care experience
Preferred - Prior air medical transport experience
**Certifications**
Required - National Registry license to practice in the State of Mississippi
CPR Healthcare Provider Certification
Preferred - BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
**Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)**
+ Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
+ Strong interpersonal skills.

**Job Duties**
+ Works collaboratively with and under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse to provide for the delivery of patient care through the use of the nursing process.
