As a PCA: Personal Care Assistant , supporting the Redstone mission will include the following responsibilities:
- Cares for residents in nursing and personal care/assisted living departments while keeping them safe and comfortable during their activities of daily living.

Certified Nursing Assistant C.N.A. performs basic duties to assist participants in maintaining an environment consistent with their needs. Assists participants in their mobility exercises to help them be more independent for their activities and maintain their current level of functioning. Provides care, across care settings (center or home) in a manner that ensures participant satisfaction and retention. Assists participant in such activities as walking, transfers, use of mobility devises, getting to and from restroom, toileting, providing incontinence care, feeding, showering, getting in and out of transportation vehicles, and socialization at the center. - Deliver direct and indirect patient care in accordance with hospital/physician practices policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assist to collects patient healthcare data, including VS, weight, chief complaint and pain assessment as directed.
- Complete patient care treatments and testing as ordered.
- Comply with completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of documentation.
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Communicate pertinent information of actual or potential problems to the physician or nurse.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the provider and as a member of the health care team, assists in coordinating the examination, treatment and health care planning for patients.
