**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Alliance Director, you will assist with the oversight of the department responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with client accounts of strategic significance within the healthcare industry.
This job is part of the Operations Management job function. They are responsible for coordinating staff functions and operations that support the organization's goals and strategies.
**What You'll Do:**

Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
+ Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
+ Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education with an emphasis on Facilities Management, Engineering Operations, Transaction Management, Project Management/Construction and Consulting will be considered.
+ CFM, FMA industry certifications recommended.
+ Preference will be given to applicants with direct Facilities Management leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
+ Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.

**FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT**
The Mental Health and Human Services degree program at Kingsborough Community College is hiring adjunct lecturers to teach required field internship courses. We are looking for dynamic, proactive, and innovative lecturers to support students in developing their social service skills and knowledge.
Field internship courses are practice-based learning opportunities hosted at a variety of non-profit settings in Brooklyn, New York as elder care, outpatient mental health, schools for children with disabilities, and community organizing. Approximately 10 students learn together on-site for 6 hours on the same day each week during the 12-week semester. (For example, a nursing home site hosts students from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Tuesdays). The adjunct lecturer creates syllabi and materials, offers lectures, and supports the students to reflect on their engagement with clients and tasks. Some sites require adjuncts to collaborate with the organization's staff to create and supervise student tasks. We have existing sites and are open to new sites as well.

**Resident Care**
+ Review, read, notate, and initial Daily Log to document and learn about pertinent information about residents.

+ Greet guests, family members, residents, and team members.
+ Answer, direct and/or respond to phone calls in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
+ Assist with continence management and dispose of all continence products properly to ensure sanitation of resident suite and community restrooms using standard care procedures.
+ Communicate with families and is a resource as needed.
+ Help residents maintain independence and physical safety and promote dignity of each resident adhering to the standards of Resident Rights and Sunrise Principles of Service.
+ Participate/lead and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and Invite, Encourage, and Assist (IEA) residents to participate in activities as indicated on the ISP.

+ Practice safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Lockout Tagout procedures.
+ Report all accidents/incidents immediately.
+ Reports all unsafe and hazardous conditions/equipment immediately.
+ Ensure any cords, carts, equipment, and other hazards are always kept out of the way, not blocking exits, and in compliance with fire codes.
+ Understand and practice the proper method of attending to and disposing of, and the possibility of exposure to, blood borne pathogens, bodily fluids, infectious waste, sharp sticks, and hazardous materials.
+ Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, sharp sticks, and hazardous chemicals immediately.
+ Ensure oxygen tanks are stored safely, exchanged when empty and monitored to make sure liters of oxygen are at prescribed levels.
**Housekeeping and Laundry Services**

**Training and Contributing to Team Success**

The Occupational Therapist will primarily provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population. The in-home setting could be a patient's private residence or in a patient's room in an independent living facility. Powerback Rehabilitation To You allows the Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat in the most functional environment which is the patient's home. The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs for the agency to facilitate rehabilitation. In addition, they direct patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. The Occupational Therapist facilitates the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology. This position provides a flexible schedule and work environment in various settings.
1. As necessary or applicable, supervision of Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
2. Responsible for adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements as well as work related meetings.
3. Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other related meetings.
4. Makes referrals to other disciplines, agencies in order to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.
5. Consults with other members of the rehabilitation team, including the community physician, to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.
6. Adapts program and/or plan of care according to the needs of individual patients.
7. Promotes a safe environment and enforces the elimination of fire and safety hazards.
8. Orders supplies and equipment as necessary.

Develops appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the patient and caregivers, implements the occupational therapy treatment plan, and completes all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services. 4. Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patient's residence.
