Summary
Performs CT scans of designated anatomy using professional judgment while imaging with regard to technical quality according to physician specifications. Provides courteous and professional delivery of CT technical exams and procedures while adhering to radiation safety precautions. Supports patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality regarding PHI and HIPPA related information. On-call as required by the department. Works in a hospital facility that offers full hospital services. Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients encompassing emergency, inpatient and outpatient classes supporting up to and including trauma and ICU.
Job Duties
- Performs all types of imaging procedures and operates all equipment safely and properly including scanners, injectors, and monitors.
- Reviews all images of all exams, repeating images as necessary for best possible result.
- Communicates with the patient by addressing the patient by name, introducing self to the patient, explaining the exam in lay terms and keeping the patient Informed of exam progress.
- Prepares patient images to PACs for interpretation by a radiologist and administers contrast media per protocol.
- Completes technical notes, verifies images, and sends exams to PACS promptly.
- Notifies physician of any adverse reaction to contrast media or change in patient's condition.
- Reviews patient chart/script prior to initiating exam to verify pertinent information.
- Prepares patients for CT procedures by accurately assessing patient's needs, medical history, and provides patient education.
- Operates computed tomography scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction of images, documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
- Attends department meetings or other mandatory meetings with a positive attitude.
- Practices accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical School Diploma Graduate of accredited Radiography program or equivalent or
- CNMT, RT(CT) Certified
- Less than 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Ability to provide proper patient care essential to radiologic procedures.
- Knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting to various protocols.
- Proficient use of the advanced software for CT scanning and post procedure processing applications.
- Strong aptitude for CT technology.
- Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and upbeat demeanor.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 30 Days
- RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or
- CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech NMTCB - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.

20) Performs heat stress monitoring for Radiation Protection related activities. Can assist other work groups as time permits.
21) Performs such other related duties as assigned or as necessary.
22) Performs all duties of a Junior Radiation Protection Technician.
23) Performs duties as directed and/or qualified for.
24) Assists in Radiation Protection training programs and conducts training of which they are qualified for, including on-the-job training.

**As a Home Care Aide, you'll work 1-on-1 with your clients inside their homes, and support them with the following types of activities:**
+ Light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning
+ Personal activities such as dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals
+ Running errands, grocery shopping, and/or accompanying your clients to appointments

Eligibility Requirements:
+ Valid driver's license or ID
+ Access to reliable transportation
+ No experience is required, but candidates with a certified nursing assistant (CNA) certification are encouraged to apply
+ Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training
_Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements. Compensation, benefits, time off, and bonuses vary by state and location, so please ask for complete details at your interview._
_* 1,000 sign-on bonus is valid for applicants effective 1/1/2025. Sign-on bonus is paid in two increments: 500 is paid after the caregiver has worked 500 hours from the start date and another 500 is paid out after the caregiver has worked 1,000 hours from the start date. Caregiver must be active at the time of bonus payout_ **_and be at a minimum of an 85% electronic visit verification_** _to receive the sign-on bonus. Bonuses will be paid within 30 days of reaching eligibility. New caregivers as well as previous caregivers who have not worked for Help at Home since prior to 1/1/2024 will be eligible for the bonus. Caregivers transferring from an organization within the Help at Home, LLC portfolio of companies are not eligible to receive the bonus._
