Under direct supervision, performs non-invasive vascular testing utilizing a variety of ultrasonic and plethysmographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images and blood flow data.
Education/Experience Required: A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a vascular laboratory/diagnostic facility is required.
Certifications/Licensures Required: National Accreditation as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is required. Students that have trained in the Vascular Lab can be hired but must become RVT within six months or their position will be eliminated.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions: Normal office environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, or extreme temperatures. Perform angiograms, digital angiography, invasive specialized radiologic procedures under the direction and supervision of an angiography radiologist.
