Job Description
Class Action litigation attorney needed for a growing national law firm. The position will be based in Chicago IL.
Responsibilities:
-Drafting, analyzing, and interpreting various contracts and legal documents.
- Conducting detailed research and analysis on complex legal issues.
- Assisting senior attorneys with the preparation for trials and conduct depositions
- Establishing detail oriented and courteous communication with prospective and existing clients.
- Reviewing case files and drafting demand letters accordingly.
- Participating in weekly case conferences and consultations.
- Drafting pleadings, briefs, and other types of legal documents and correspondence.
Requirements
- Must hold a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook is necessary.
- Strong legal research skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
-Proven track record of managing client relationships effectively.
- Must uphold the highest level of detail-oriented ethics and integrity.
- Experience in court appearances and litigation is required.
- Familiarity with legal databases and document management systems is necessary.
