Job Summary
As the Senior Field Service Technician , you will complete scheduled service calls for residential, multi-family, and commercial properties. The job will always guarantee 32 hours / week but is expected to fill 40 hours / week consistently. You will use the company provided van, equipment. You will efficiently manage service appointments, provide excellent customer service, train and direct the Assistant Service Technician, and have the ability to adapt to a changing work environment. As the face of the company to the client, you will need to understand their needs and all of the possible solutions that HomeSmiles can provide. This applies to gaining referrals and new clients whenever practical.

- Train and lead junior technician; function as an effective team.
- **NOTE** you will not repair or amend any part of the homes/ property.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record (Must be insurable).
- Experience performing maintenance services. (Pressure Washing is desirable but not required).
- Good communication skills with solid customer service attitude.

Rebuilding Together Peninsula (RTP) provides repair and renovation services for the Peninsula's most vulnerable homeowners and community facilities. We bring together volunteers to tackle critically-needed repairs throughout the San Mateo County and Northern Santa Clara County areas. Skilled volunteers may assist with prep or cleanup work, assist select volunteer teams in construction activities, or act as day-of site runners to collect needed materials and supplies.
Skilled Volunteers may also become Construction Captains who lead construction projects consisting of other volunteers and sponsor teams.
Skilled Volunteers help Construction Captains and teams to focus on the work at-hand, and contribute to an efficient job well-done in providing safety and improvement repairs to our neighbors-in-need.

The pay range for this position is $50K to $60K and is dependent on your experience as a professional handyman as well as your experience with other home repair and maintenance projects such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and drywall.
