We are seeking an experienced Administrator/Medical Financial Operations Manager to lead and oversee the financial and billing operations across our healthcare practice. This role is critical in optimizing our revenue cycle, ensuring accurate billing practices, maintaining compliance, and bridging the gap between financial systems and EMR data. Success in this position requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with both staff and physicians.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership
- Supervise and support a team of billing and coding specialists across multiple office locations.
- Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient and accurate claim processing.
2. Billing Operations
- Oversee the entire billing cycle: coding, claims submission, payment posting, and collections.

3. Financial Oversight
- Utilize accounting software (preferably QuickBooks) for financial tracking and reporting.

4. System & Technology Management

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Positions in this function are responsible for investigating, recovering and resolving all types of claims as well as recovery and resolution for health plans, commercial customers and government entities. May include initiating telephone calls to members, providers and other insurance companies to gather coordination of benefits data. Investigate and pursue recoveries and payables on subrogation claims and file management. Process recovery on claims. Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies and contract compliance. May conduct contestable investigations to review medical history. May monitor large claims including transplant cases.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 8pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

The Patient Services Associate (PSA) II position is the first point of phone customer service contact for our patients, physicians, internal and external laboratory, imaging, hospital, patient family members, and vendors by offering customer service, communications, and appropriate distribution of phone calls and messages.
