The MRI Hospital Assistant II supports technologists by
preparing MRI rooms, managing workflow, stocking supplies and safely
transporting patients within the Radiology Department. You will assist with
patient positioning, set up of Power Injectors and use of the Radiology
Information System while ensuring a clean and safe work environment. We expect that
you support MR-guided interventional procedures, including setting up sterile
trays, assisting with cryo tumor ablation systems and monitoring gas levels.
All duties are performed under the direct supervision of the MR Manager and
Lead MR Technologists, with a focus on patient care, safety and efficient
departmental operations.
Salary Range: $22.65 - $29.92 Hourly
Qualifications
+ BLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
+ High School Diploma - required
+ Experience in the medical field, computer hospital information systems - preferred
+ Ability to respond efficiently to expressed needs of referring services, physicians and patients
+ Understands the requirement of EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act)

- Provide direct observation of patients as directed by the nursing plan of care and under the supervision of the nursing staff and nursing supervisor.
- Assist nursing staff in creating, maintaining, and providing a safe environment.
- Alert nursing staff immediately to any signs of patient distress, condition, and/or any equipment malfunction.
- Adhere to confidentiality and patient's rights policy as outlined in the healthcare facility's HIPAA policies and procedures.

We are seeking a highly experienced Veterinary Client Service professional to join our leadership team as Assistant Hospital Manager. The role demands a leader with the interpersonal and organizational skills to continue achieving our goals of delivering excellent patient care and customer service to both our clients and referring veterinarians. - Model an "owner" mentality in hospital by demonstrating a willingness to assist all employees in making the practice a success; invest the necessary amount of time to accomplish the required responsibilities and ensure the smooth operation of the hospital.
- Minimizing patient stress and discomfort; recommend referral to another VCA doctor or specialist when this is likely to significantly improve the prognosis.
- Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols; assist colleagues in follow-up and future management of the patient.
- Supervise the administration and case review of client medical complaints.
- Positively represent the hospital and VCA in the professional community and to the general public.
