Under general supervision, provides a safe, therapeutic environment for the residents through clinical support and intervention in the residential setting, offering crisis intervention and conflict management to clients as needed. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK:Directly relates to the Support Staff Manager for administration, routine projects, special projects, and basic program issues. Clinical support staff play a vital role in mental healthcare by providing essential support to professional counseling staff and ensuring smooth client care. Responsibilities vary but often include tasks like assisting with patient intake, maintaining medical records, coordinating appointments, as well as completing clerical duties in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLES OF POSITION DUTIES:Handle incoming calls, walk-ins, and "contact us" emailsMeet with clinical supervisor weekly to review waitlistDesignate what intakes require immediate attention from crisis team, who to put on wait list, and who to refer out.
