Our client in Spring, TX is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organization with over 900 employees. Key Responsibilities:
Full Cycle Workers' Compensation Management: Handle all aspects of workers' comp claims, including conducting thorough investigations and ensuring compliance.
FMLA Administration: Manage Family and Medical Leave Act processes, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to regulations.
I-9 and E-Verify Management: Oversee employee eligibility verifications and document compliance.
New Hire Orientation: Facilitate onboarding processes to integrate employees effectively into the organization.
Benefits Management: Take on benefits administration responsibilities as the role expands.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in all areas listed above (Workers' Comp, FMLA, I-9/E-Verify, New Hire Orientation).
Experience managing HR operations for at least 500 FTEs; familiarity with scaling HR processes for over 900 employees is preferred.
Tech-savviness: Ability to efficiently utilize HR software and systems to streamline processes and improve productivity.
The role does not include employee relations functions, so candidates should be comfortable specializing in administrative and operational HR tasks.
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote (located in Spring, TX).
Compensation:
Up to $70,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience managing HR operations for a workforce of at least 500 employees.
- Strong expertise in workers' compensation management, FMLA administration, I-9 compliance, and E-Verify processes.
- Proficiency in facilitating onboarding and orientation programs for new team members.
- Familiarity with benefits administration and scaling HR processes for large organizations.
- Advanced technical skills and experience using HR software, such as Workday, to optimize workflows.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to HR compliance.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between in-office and remote settings.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
