This role is responsible for managing local employee relations executing HR practices and policies, and developing and leveraging best practices for 400+ employees across the TSS manufacturing facilities.  The ideal candidate is a customer-centric problem solver with a strong ability to think critically and operate with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity. This person thrives in a fast-paced, changing and challenging work environment and has previous experience doing HR and labor relations within a manufacturing setting.
**The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:**
+ Manage Human Resources for multiple plant sites: Corpus Christi, TX, La Porte, TX, and El Dorado, AR.
+ Providing strategic partnership to the organization leadership team to support overall operational discipline, business performance, and continuous improvement.
+ Partnering with leadership to assess organization capability, accelerate development programs,and ensure succession plans are in place to support current and future business requirements.
+ Attracting and retaining top talent to enable business plan execution and succession management.
+ Empowering an engaged, respectful and productive workplace culture.
+ Manage annual HR Processes including goal setting, performance ratings, merit and bonus budgets,local pay determination, and talent review.
+ Collaborating with line leadership in the effective implementation of people related programs, such as recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, performance management, and employee relations.
+ Manage union relationship and processes to maintain open communications and productive interactions.
+ Enhancing HR team efficiencies and processes using digital tools and new AI technologies to strengthen us for the long term.
+ Providing coaching and support to leadership regarding workforce planning, culture development, organizational policies & procedures, and communication of key initiatives.
+ Benchmarking HR processes and systems locally to ensure they are competitive, meet employee needs and provide increasing value to the site.
+ Assessing the site environment for organizational growth opportunities, identify & implement improvements, and monitor performance to deliver improved business results and effectively lead organizational change.
+ Serving in a responsive manner to employee relations issues and managing conflict in varying situations (such as performance coaching or dissatisfied employees); acting with empathy and courage
+ Working hand in hand with legal, internal and external on a variety of employment litigation matters.
+ Manage HR support for three locations, traveling regularly to assigned sites to maintain relationships with Managers, Union, and employeesincluding attending critical meetings and important eventsat each plant in person.
**The following is** **_required_** **for this role:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.  
+ 4+ years of work-related experience as HR generalist / HR operations.
+ Ability to handle HR related legal employment issues.
+ Broad background in developing and implementing change management initiatives and creating organizational capabilities.
+ Strong Oral and written communication.
+ Ability to set priorities and provide direction through direct and influence management.
+ Strong interest and capability in talent development and talent management.  
+ Demonstrated ability to translate broad HR function direction into leadership initiatives in collaboration with peers and line leaders.
+ Ability to work independently as a site HR Business Partner.
+ High level of personal integrity, ethics, initiative, communication skills both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal skills.
**The following is** **_preferred_** **for this role:**
+ Previous experience serving employees in a multi-shift environment (manufacturing, chemical refining or strongly related environment).
+ Experience handling union contract and wage negotiations.
+ HR experience in an Industrial or manufacturing operations environment.
