**The opportunity**
We have an opportunity for a Manager to lead and participate in global HR Mergers and Acquisitions, Divestitures and Spins - HR operational, organizational alignment and employee experience support from early due diligence analysis through to project planning, execution and Day 1 go live. Skillsets and work would involve producing HR due diligence reports (both buy-side and sell-side), integration and separation plans, managing and executing project management across HR workstreams, helping define future state employee governance and structures, and enabling employee communications and experience through the transactions.
**Your key responsibilities**
You will work on multiple M&A projects. In this role, you will be required to lead and deliver quality client service, provide flexible and innovative HR solutions and balance multiple priorities. You will also be expected to have excellent communication skills, integrate into and lead new teams, and rapidly establish relationships. Specifically, you should contribute to generating profitable revenue through identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients. You should also demonstrate relevant technical skills in understanding M&A transactions generally with emphasis on HR operations design and delivery, data analytics, and understand global and local HR and workforce impacts of buying or selling a business.
**Skills and attributes for success**
To thrive in this role, you'll need a blend of technical and business skills, including organization and workforce analysis, HR strategy, digital fluency, and complex problem-solving. Your ability to build relationships and communicate with impact will be crucial. You'll also need to demonstrate:
+ Experience with HR aspects of mergers/acquisitions
+ Have Due Diligence and M&A experience through the full life cycle of an acquisition, divestiture or spin.
+ Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns
+ Take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement
+ Ability to lead and motivate teams ensuring quality and timely deliverables
+ Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients
+ Incorporate and be open to learning new applications of evolving technology into daily workflow including tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot, agentic AI, and LLM modules to support data analysis, deliverable development and challenge traditional approaches.
**To qualify for the role, you must have**
+ A bachelor's degree in a relevant field of business, human resources or psychology
+ At least 7 years of relevant experience
+ Relevant experience through one of the following: Professional services role with a global management consultancy firm or niche consultancy, or related line role in industry, in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s)
+ Expertise in automation opportunity assessment and prioritization
+ Strategic thinking with a digital strategy focus
+ Awareness of HR compliance and regulation
+ Willingness to travel as needed, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with an average of three (3) days per week at a client site or within an EY office.

+ Experience in process optimization and HR technology implementation
